Each tree removes carbon dioxide andother pollutants from the air, catches and fi ltershundreds of gallons of rainwater per year,increase spending in our commercial districts,and raise property values.
NEW NEIGHBORHOOD SAFETY &SECURITY REBATE PROGRAMSAfter consulting with SSA #33 taxpayers andneighborhood stakeholders over the past sixmonths, as well as engaging a public quality-of-l ife consultant (Responsible HospitalityInstitute President & Founder Jim Peters), WPBSSA #33 has updated its previous graffitiabatement rebate program to include a range ofsafety-related rebates:
Security cameras Exterior l ighting Anti-smash glass fi lm Window repair Graffiti removal Private security
The new rebates are for eligible properties withinthe boundaries of WPB SSA #33, and willreimburse 50 percent of the cost of one or moreof these neighborhood safety measures, up to$1,000 per measure annually, per location.Private security reimbursements are now eligiblefor 75% UP TO $5,000 annually, per location.
