Important Notes

WPML Multilingual Translation

Upon detecting WPML plugin RSW theme places language translation

drop down menus above the social header and under the responsive

menu for mobile devices. These functions are placed for best responsive

features.

If the plugin isnt active it skips these functions without displaying them.

Theme options string variables is provided in theme root folder by file

name wpml-config.xml . It requires WPML string translation plugin to

translate these strings.

1. Download the zipped theme pack to your local computer from themeforest and extract the ZIP file contents to a folder on your

local computer.

2. Using an FTP client to access your host web server.

3. Upload the Theme files in the extracted folder called rsw (its inside the extracted rsw-packed) to wp-content/themes directory

provided by WordPress. Please make sure youre uploading the files from the extracted rsw zip.

4. Visit Administration > Appearance > Themes, under the Manage Themes tab, under the Available Themes, if necessary navigate to

the page displaying that Theme, then click the Activate link to make the Theme, the Current Theme.

Building the Menus- Enable Descriptions

Screen Options

Click Screen Options. This tab is displayed on

the top right corner of the browser window.

Enable Descriptions Check

Enable Descriptions Tab.

Click Menus

Clicking will display Menu Builder Screen.

Social Header icons

Social icons

The social icons can be generated by

populating your social links in the input fields.

Social Widget

The Social widget can be found in the Widgets list area in

wp-admin.

NOTE: Drag and drop the Social widget to Social

Header Widget area are and activate your social links.

Theme Options- Setting up Logo

To setup logo, login to Wordpress Admin

and Click Theme Options and click the

General Tab as shown below. Click upload

and select your logo image to upload. Once

uploaded click Use this image as shown on

the right handside image. Make sure youve

selected Full image for the image size.

Once uploaded - Click Use this image

Theme Options- Setting up a Default Backgrounds

Background image

Upload and click Use this Image from the uploader to activate a

background. Remember to select the Full image option when choosing

the image size.

Click Use This Image to set the image. Make sure Full Size is selected.

Setting up Fullscreen Video function

1. For the fullscreen video to function its required to download JWPlayer.

Dont include the Viral - video sharing plugin with the player when downloading.

Please download JWPlayer from the following URL

2. Copy the above files from the zip folder to your themes folder in /JS/JWPLAYER/

( The JS/JWPLAYER folder is already created. You just need to copy the files to it. No

RSW theme can build you custom post formats. Post formats can be chosen from the Post Edit screen. The list

appears as the below screen shot.

When you select a post format additional options will relating the the chosen post format. These extra options are

available for Gallery. Link, Image, Quote, Video and Audio.

The feature of Generating Shortcodes through the Post and Page

editor makes it a breeze to apply Shortcodes. There is no longer

need to memorize or refer to any of them. Clicking each shortcode

button gives you a Pop-up with the configurations required to

generate them right into the editor.

Complex text layouts can be generated using the Columns

Shortcode.

NOTE:

For the Shortcode GUI to be visible youll need to be in the Post or

Page editor in Visual mode.

NOTE:

The Thumbnails and Slideshow shortcodes require image attachments in the post or page its generated in. Just upload Multiple images to the post or page and click save - no need to insert the image to the contents area manually. Once the shortcode is generated itll pick the attached images and display them.
