SILIKON (VMQ) AG 34 ÈERVENÝ Rubber sheeting for special use

NEOPREN 60 Z/V Rubber sheeting resistant to aging

NEOPREN 65 ST Rubber sheeting resistant to aging

Silicone does not have sufficient resistance to many organic solvents, alkalis and especially to the long-term effect of supraheated steam. Silicone has significant advantages over the other rubber sorts in many aspects:

High flexibility at low temperatures while keeping all elasticity properties.

Excellent resistance to high temperatures, very good resistance to the particular chemicals

Extraordinary resistance to UV radiation, ozone, atmospheric effects and ageing, generally.

Absolute water non-absorptivity and watertightness¸colourless, ideal for food applications

Bacteriologically undecomposable, it does not affect the taste and smell of the mediumwhich it is in contact with

Inert to glues, generally, excellent antiadhesive properties

Silicone has significant advantages over the other rubber sorts in many aspects:

High flexibility at low temperatures while keeping all elasticity properties. Excellent resistance to the high temperatures, very good resistance to the particular chemicals. Extraordinary resistance to UV radiation, ozone, atmospheric effects and ageing, generally. Absolute water non-absorptivity and watertightness colourless, ideal for food applications. The sheeting produced from Wollastonite fibres are used as a protection from electric discharge: burners, heaters and other high temperature sources. Thermal loss at +800°C @ 13%. During the sheeting processing the similar tools are used as for wood working. The sheeting can be drilled as well as cut. If the isolation sheeting Nefalit is moistened, it can be easily flexed and shaped.

The sheeting is produced from ceramic fibres and it is used as a protection for the electrical equipment, household appliances, as a welding protection, heat sealing (flange sealing) and insulation reinforcement in the buildings etc.Thermal loss at +800°C @ 15%.

The sheeting does not contain any harmful fibres. It is free of ceramic fibres and it is ranked in Class 3 according to (IARC). The fibres contained in this new product allow the same use of this product as in case of Nefalit 5, 7, 11 or 16 without any risk. Thermal loss at +800°C @ 15%.

The material PTFE is characterized by exceptional properties, especially as a self-lubricating material resistant to vibrations, with good stiffness and damping effects. It has excellent electro-isolation properties which do not change even in liquid media within the temperature range. The sheeting can be easily drilled, milled and cut. It has extraordinary chemical resistance and low adhesion!

PTFE – GF 25 is a special grey-blue version with a 25% additive of glass fibres in order to reach the more precise production thickness. It has excellent chemical resistance, dimensional consistency and stiffness.

The other properties are similar to the basic version – NT.

PTFE – CA 25 – dark grey version of the natural PTFE compound and a 25% carbon content. It has higher stiffness and dimensional consistency. Its electro-isolation property is worse but its important advantage is wear resistance, especially abrasion resistance! The other properties are similar to the basic version – NT.
