STOP sign:Tells a car they

need to stop and wait until it is safe to go.

GIVE WAY sign:Tells a car they

need to wait and let other cars go before they do.

TRAFFIC LIGHTS:Green = Go

Yellow = Slow downRed = Stop

SCHOOL ZONE sign:Warns a car that they are near a school so

children may be around, this means

they must slow down.

This sign means that this is a safe place for you to walk across as there is a ‘Lollipop Person’ to stop the cars to allow you to

cross.

Riding a BIKERules for Riding a Bike:1. Always wear a Helmet2. Always obey the signs3. Walk the bike across the road4. Keep both hands on the handlebars5. If travelling far always ride with an adult6. Try and not ride during the early morning

or night7. Always pay attention to where you are
