Permanent recruitmentPermanent recruitment is the foundation of every business and it is crucial that all possible measures are taken to ensure that the very best permanent talent is sourced and recruited. The long-term nature of permanent appointments makes them a business-critical decision and one that will have a profound and lasting effect on future commercial success.

Rullion IT Plus have been providing a range of permanent recruitment offerings to our clients since 1986, always focussing on delivering top talent in an efficient and cost effective manner, while simultaneously monitoring and measuring time-to-hire and retention rates. Depending upon the scale and nature of your requirements, we can offer the following services:

Contingency permanent recruitmentDrawing upon our wealth of candidate attraction methods and internal consultants’ expertise, we can identify those rare skills that either in-house recruitment teams or alternative suppliers may find difficult to source.

Campaign managementDue to our long-term track record in managing large-scale recruitment campaigns, we possess the necessary experience and expertise to deliver a high-quality recruitment campaign. In conjunction with our retained marketing agency, we have the capacity to design a comprehensive campaign that will cover everything, including press advertising, handling of direct responses, creation of brand profile, social media communication and setting up campaign microsites in order to find the best people with the right cultural fit for your organisation.

Search and selectionOur Senior Appointments Team offers a retained or headhunting service in delivering unique talent, however it is still based upon a contingency model, as we believe in receiving our full fee only once the candidate has been appointed by our client. The team offers a creative and proactive approach, challenging the traditional and outdated methodology within the search market place.

Contractor and temporary recruitmentContractors and temporary workers are utilised by Rullion IT Plus’ clients to provide cover for their own staff, either when they are on short or extended leave, to fill positions where permanent staff cannot be recruited, or to provide expertise on important client projects such as infrastructure upgrades and transformation programmes.

Contractors offer flexibility to clients and help to reduce costs, as expertise can be brought in at short notice unaffected by headcount restrictions and without incurring the costly overheads of employing permanent staff. Our client base is wide ranging but includes Financial Services, Utilities, Retail, Public Sector and Outsourcing.

As we have shown, our comprehensive range of services covers all areas of temporary and permanent recruitment for IT and Business Change. In addition to its breadth, the success of this range also comes from our ability to deliver our services through all of the following recruitment framework models depending on the specific needs of each individual client.

Payroll divisionThe Payroll Division is dedicated to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of direct and migrated contractors’ contract assignments. Unlike some of our competitors, all of our contractors will be managed by an experienced account team who fully understand all of the key aspects of payment processing and legal contracts.

Services

Preferred supplierThe Preferred Supplier model involves Rullion IT Plus working in competition with a defined number of other agencies. Preferred Suppliers are usually selected through a formal tender process and such arrangements can either be Open, where vacancies are despatched simultaneously to all suppliers, or Tiered, where vacancies are dispatched to first, second and/or specialist/niche suppliers at different time intervals.

The advantage of these arrangements is simple: the number and range of suppliers can be tailored to the client’s exact needs and can include niche or specialist suppliers. Lower agency costs will result from a switch to a mandated Preferred Suppliers List from ad hoc provision and the client will also gain closer control of its recruitment function.

We are extremely proud of our long-term client relationships under a Preferred Supplier model. Indeed, due to our unparalleled staff retention track record, we have been able to deliver a highly consistent recruitment service that has never resulted in a Rullion IT Plus contract not being extended because of deficiencies.

Managed serviceThe Managed Service model involves Rullion IT Plus engaging and managing contractors/staff supplied by a Preferred Suppliers List on behalf of the client, sometimes providing an agency supply capability of our own and on other occasions, simply acting as a neutral vendor.

The model enables us to secure reduced agency rates and margins on behalf of clients and by drawing on the consultancy and technology expertise of Rullion Solutions, to focus on improving resource management processes through the provision of wide-ranging Management Information reports on the usage of agency staff.

Due to our close partnership with Rullion Solutions, at Rullion IT Plus we have the recruitment expertise, support systems and market-leading IT resources to provide an on-site Neutral Vendor service. This service offers greater control and monitoring through regular online reporting together with reviews on the performance and compliance of the Preferred Suppliers.

As a recognised supplier of Managed Services, our service offerings now include:

Master vendorThe Master Vendor model involves Rullion IT Plus taking ownership of the client’s entire contract or permanent recruitment function, or both, including candidate vetting, renewals and supplier management reviews. As the Master Vendor, we may also be responsible for optional services such as HR consultancy, inductions, bespoke invoicing arrangements, second tier supplier management and legal compliance.

The Master Vendor has a lead time of approximately 48 hours on all client requirements and any positions that Rullion IT Plus are unable to directly source are released to a ‘second tier’ of suppliers. This ensures that we fulfil 100% of the client’s required roles, thus relieving the client of responsibility for every aspect of the recruitment process.

As well as a more streamlined and consistent service, this model produces considerable cost savings from improved agency fees, control over pay rates, an enhanced recruitment process and greater efficiency in areas such as invoice processing.

RPOAs a natural extension to our Permanent Recruitment offerings and working in close partnership with Rullion Group’s consultancy and technology division, Rullion Solutions, we can offer a complete RPO framework enabling our clients to outsource their entire recruitment function to us. Through the supply of a highly experienced on-site account team supported by myRecruiter, we can generate significant process and cost saving initiatives on behalf of our clients, as well as maximising the likelihood of recruiting the very best talent available. We also work with marketing partners to manage our clients’ brands, improving the market’s perception of the brand while enhancing the overall candidate experience at every stage of their contact with the client.
