Welcome to Brunswick Reformed Church’s worship celebrations.

To make our mutual experience more enjoyable today please:

1. Relax - At BRC you can rest assured that you will not be embarrassed,

singled out, or put on the spot.

2. Fill Out a Welcome Card - These can be dropped in the offering plate

later. The information won’t be misused, and will help us know who’s been

here. It’s also a great way to drop a note to, or request a contact from, a staff

member.

3. Ask for Prayer - If you have a prayer concern to share, pick up a prayer

request form from the cart in back. Give completed forms to an usher or the

pastor before the service begins.

4. Know There Are Options for Children –

• The small room in the right rear corner has rocking chairs where little

ones can be rocked, quieted or nursed.

• We have an excellent nursery for ages 0-3 at the far end of our education

wing.

5. Join Us for Fellowship - Coffee and juice are served in the fellowship

area after each service. Join us and get acquainted. We do ask that you not

take drinks into worship with you.

6. Do Not Feel Obligated to Give - If you are a first-time guest, please do

not feel obligated to participate in the offering. This is a time when members

and regular attendees honor God by giving to his work through this church.

Let today be our gift to you.

7. “Give by Text” is available. Simply send a text to 330-239-8652 with

the amount you would like to contribute.

8. BRC is on the web www.b-r-c.org

Who Is BRC? We are a member of the Reformed Church in

America, a Protestant denomination that goes back to the Reformation

period in Europe when the Church was “reformed” according to the

Word of God.

We are a mixture of Christians from many denominational backgrounds, all seeking to grow in our spiritual maturity as we live by faith with Jesus as our forgiver and leader.

Katie Welsh (Jim and Kim’s Daughter in Law) was in the hospital this week with a large fever which has since come down. Please pray that it is nothing that can be transmitted to the baby. Donna Jamiol's mom has been moved to the Hospice Care Center of Medina. Donna and her family are praying for a peaceful transition for her mom when God decides it's her time to be called home. They are also praying for strength to help in any way that they can while she is still with them. Continue faithful in prayer for those with ongoing health concerns: Marie Buser, Bob Cooperrider, Rick Demeter, Emerson Draiss, Jeanette Fagan, Nancy & Bob Hanwell, Zak Harbaugh, Earl Holzheimer, Rose Murray, Eileen Raich, Gini Reinke, Dick Read, Kathy Rogoff, Ted Szenger, & Margaret Zapotechne. Continue to pray for our military personnel.

Adults 60 and over: There is a magazine called "The Source" available for you in our literature rack, along with a pamphlet from the Medina County Office for Older Adults. In them you will find great information about resources available to you, including Medicare counseling, activities, events, support groups and even free lunches. This edition is for 2017-2018, and we will replace them with the 2018-2019 edition as soon as they are available. If you have any questions, contact Cindy Toom or any of our Deacons.

Community Services is in need of Blankets, Bedding, towels, washcloths and any other household linens. Please place any donations in the tote across from the kitchen. Thank you, Nancy Hanwell

Question 15. Since no one can keep the law, what is its purpose?

Answer. That we may know the holy nature and will of God, and the sinful nature and disobedience of our hearts; and thus our need of a Savior. The law also teaches and exhorts us to live a life worthy of our Savior.

Today we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. We invite all those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord to partake of this sacrament with us. We hold the elements until all have been served and then partake together.
