Course Tilte: Introductory Organic Chemistry I

I got to know about this course through the catalogue displayed on our notice board which had a huge list of courses. On asking the teacher, I got a suggestion for this course as it was intended for undergraduate students. The duration of this course was 8 weeks for which I think 20 AAA points are justified. The entire course including the exam was conducted online. As this course was online, I could study at my own comfort which made it easy for understanding each concept. Weekly assignments and tutorial videos were really helpful which made sure that the application of the concept is done. The lectures are really knowledgeable and any undergraduate student will enhance his/her understanding for further studies. I would thank the college administration for making the provision of AAA points which encouraged students to take up these courses. I look forward for continuing these courses for my studies and encourage other students to do the same.

Course Title: Cloud Computing

This course introduced various aspects of cloud computing, including fundamentals, management issues, security challenges and future research fields.

The criteria to get a certificate was 25% of the best of 6 out 8 assignments and 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100. Duration of the course is 8 weeks. This course has greatly helped me add to my IT skills. I recommend this course to all those who are interested in increasing their knowledge in the field of Networking.

Course Title: Psychology of Everyday

Psychology of Everyday has been a truly invaluable learning experience for me as it gave me a good grounding in the basics. I have learnt so much from all he constructive input and guidance by the professors throughout each lesson of the course. Over the duration of the course I gained a lot of knowledge and practical strategies that will be beneficial to me. I highly recommend this course as the topics are related to the everyday behavior and mindset of the people. Also, the students taking up the courses available on SWAYAM platform are awarded AAA credits.

Course Title: Biomedical Nanotechnology

My course was based on Nanotechnology and the duration of course was 4 weeks. As Nanotechnology was a fascinating field for me and with the help of this course, I gained a good knowledge about it, and I have started thinking application based. It has given me a future prospectus in field of nanotechnology. I am getting 1 AAA credit point and I think that is enough for a 4-week course. If you are in Biotechnology and interested in applied research, this is an amazing field to be studied.

Course Title: Consumer Psychology

This was an 8-week course, with 8 assignments and a final exam. The instructor was a professor of IIT Guwahati. This was a simple course covering all the required topics under it. The support from our college during this period was great. All our doubts were cleared within minutes. The credit points given for the completion of SWAYAM courses is also justified as you need to spend months for its completion and you do gain a lot from it.

Course Title: Data Science for Engineers

Data Science for Engineers was an eight-week course that helped me learn about the R programming language. The videos were informative and helped me understand about Data Science. Keeping this as a AAA activity was highly beneficial for me as I wouldn’t have opted for this course otherwise. I would definitely recommend this to other students.

Course Title: Project Management

It was an eight weeks course. The structure of was course covers a lot of topics. At the start of the course the pace and information slowly builds up but, while progressing towards the end (specifically the last 3 weeks) there were a lot of new concepts introduced in a short span of time. The course was very informative and i learned a lot. However, an extended duration of the course would have helped to elaborate some topics more clearly.

Programming in Java was a 12-week course that helped me in learning Advanced Concepts of Java Language. The video lectures were really informative and the weekly assignments helped us to be regular with it. Keeping it as a AAA activity is beneficial as more students opt for it and learn. Course Title: Internet of things

The nptel course was very beneficial and was an opportunity to learn something new and interesting. It was a 12-week course which included lecture videos, lecture materials and assignments. Also, the course is free for everyone, there is no age limit. In order to get the certificate, we need to attend the online examination of the course by paying Rs.1000/- per course. Certificate are provided only if we pass the exam. There is discussion forum where students can ask their doubts and queries regarding the subject. For any queries, you can write an email to nptel.

Course Title: Programming in Java

Structure: it is a 30 hours course for which anyone can register. The prerequisites are 10th standard or higher. There are 12 weeks of coursework to complete the course & every week there will be assignments and quiz and we have to submit. For learning the course is free but if we have to give exam there will be fees of Rs 1000.

AAA points: the points earned is 30 credit points. I would like to recommended to many other students as it developed skills in a particular course and gain knowledge

Course Title: Body language: a key to professional success

This course is all about how should our body language be and how can one maintain it. Body language tells us many things about a person and play an important role in our life. On swayam they provide a 4 week course every week they provide us with a set of lectures and a ppt post which we have to attend a small test . Before exam they even keep doubt clearing session and live interaction with the teachers which was very helpful for me. Thanks to our college as they motivate us for taking part in such course and they reward us the credit point in return.

Course Title: Ethical Hacking

Ethical Hacking is a 12-week course conducted by National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL). During the course, I learned about the network, which included how network is used and what type of addresses (IPv4 and IPv6) are there in the network and how network can be divided into subnetworks. Further I learned different ways on how to find vulnerabilities in the network using various tools like nmap and wireshark and operating system used as a tool like kali linux. I also learned how the hardware can be used as a hacking tool. Moreover, some demonstration sessions were there to do some practical testing on the network on the activities mentioned above.

College supported me on choosing the course since there were a lot of options available and I really thank my college for helping me choose this course.

AAA credit points for 4 week courses are 10, 8 week courses are 20 and 12 week courses are 30. Since Ethical Hacking is a 12 week course, the credit points earned are 30.For those who want to build their career in networking, I highly recommend them to take this course.

Course Title: Artificial Intelligence: Search Methods for Problem Solving.

This course lay a strong basic foundation for learning the field of artificial intelligence. This course was challenging, yet interesting. I gained comprehensive knowledge, and this course helped me build up my problem-solving skills. I would recommend this 12-week course, which will reward me 30 points (or 1 credit) for my AAA.

Ethical Hacking was a 12-week course. The course began on July 29, 2019 and ended on October 18, 2019. Online exam was conducted on November 16, 2019. The course started with basic topics like networking and network security, and later various attacks were taught. There were hands-on demonstrations which proved helpful to me. Overall, the course was very informative. I am thankful to Prof. Wilson Rao, for inspiring me to take this course. According to me, 30 AAA points are adequate for a 12-week course. Lastly, I would recommend this course to my fellow classmates.
