The Art of Russ Butler • Russ Butler, born in New York and residing in Southern California, is renowned internationally for the variety and masterful quality of his work. His degree was earned at SUNY Buffalo and the San Francisco Art Institute. He works in many styles, subjects and media, and yet there is a common thread that runs through all of his diverse pieces- they each tell an intriguing story. Some of his one-man exhibitions include The National Academies of Science and Engineering, Universal Studios, The Robert Mondavi Wine Center and The American Cancer Society. He has also produced a large body of commissioned pieces for such notable clients as The Walt Disney Company, Hilton, Marriott , and Sheraton Hotels, The Greater Los Angeles World Trade Center and for numerous institutions and collectors around the globe. Design is another aspect of the artist's ouvre, including residential and commercial interiors and exteriors, special events and theatrical designs.
