Author offers original design TANGENTIAL BRAKING the JET Lithium about inside a wall of a tank by twistings by means of the HELICOID TRAY in the form of SHNEK's.
The design is realized in project ISTC-2036:

Originality of the decision of sharp clearing of kinetic energy flat turbulent jet of liquid lithium after an output from a target and hits in Quench Tank consists in use HELICOID TRAY in the form tray in width of 300 mm and a lateral wall 100мм.
Very much an important point having buried current of a jet of lithium after a tray targets. That is about 150 mm the jet in a tank flies by freely and then rather softly (under a corner of 6 degrees) meets with a surface SHNEK's. After that there is a crushing a jet on separate fragments which in the further twist on an internal wall tank in a tangential direction also I form a new jet in width 300 mm. Thus kinetic energy decreases very sharply (approximately on exponential law) and the jet meets free surface of a level with a speed approximately 2-3 meters (instead of 20 meters). It allows to avoid capture Gas on FS and to eliminate cavitation the pump....
