Engineering Design
Refrigeration Valves and Systems Corporation (RVS) was founded in 1983as an ASME pressure vessel manufacturer serving various industrialapplications. In 1994, EVAPCO, Incorporated acquired RVS as a whollyowned subsidiary. EVAPCO’s industry leading heat transfer productsalong with engineering innovation and financial strength enabled bothcompanies to increase their market share.
Over the years, RVS has expanded and modernized its manufacturingfacility and capabilities. In 2014, RVS completed a comprehensiveexpansion which now includes 100,000 square feet of manufacturingspace and office complex. At the core of RVS’s success is the integrationof decades of engineering design expertise and manufacturing capabilityin meeting a customer’s specifications and needs.
RVS is recognized as the customer preferred leading supplier of pressurevessels and packaged systems to the industrial refrigeration market.These products are used for a variety of refrigerants such as ammonia,CO2, propane, and various halocarbons in food and beverage processingand cold storage warehouses. In addition, RVS serves the oil and naturalgas industry with pressure vessels and packaged systems for waterfiltration, natural gas liquefaction and petrochemical refrigeration.
