Chelsea is a natural light

swoons for her hubby. When

her as an instructor in Biomedical

Engineering.

My style has been described as rich, colorful

and timeless. I strive to capture your special,

cherished moments; the look between a Daddy

and his daughter, the sweetness in a Mommy’s

hug, the warmth of a newborn snuggle. I am a

go-with-the-flow kinda girl and I look for natural

poses and environments. I will use some props,

particularly for newborn and baby sessions, but I

love to seek out nature as our backdrop.

My favorite part of pregnancy was feeling those flutters and kicks...it’s

still amazing to me that a life grows inside of you. I want to spend your

maternity session pampering you...the momma; cause once this little

one arrives--so do those sleepless nights and 2 am feedings. But, I can

honestly say, it is well worth it, a million fold. Here’s to your darling’s

entrance into the world; let’s capture your glow in anticipation of this

momentous event!

D y o u r Maternity Session

a l l i n t h e t i m i n g

Maternity sessions are best booked between 30-34 weeks. We definitely

want to highlight that bump! Two outfits are a good choice beginning

with neutral palettes; blacks and whites, are a great way to contrast our

body’s gorgeous shape. Another in bold colors, gives the essence of you!

Maternity sessions generally last 60-90 minutes, indoors or outside. Let’s

capture this fleeting moment of such a wondrous time in your life!

The newborn session has to be one of my favorite types. How can you

not love the innocence of a precious little babe?! It’s best to schedule your

newborn session during your last trimester...shooting for around your

due date. Of course, babies can have their own agenda when it comes to

timing, I know that too well myself, but we’ll aim for a session within the

first two weeks of life. Somewhere around 6-11 days is perfect to catch

those sleepy poses and slumbering babies!

D y o u r Newborn Session

t i n y d e ta i l s - - d ay o f t h e s e s s i o n

Newborn sessions take place in your home, where you, your family and

especially that baby are at ease and comfortable. When I arrive, I ask you

to show me a few different rooms so we can choose the best lighting. Full

babies make the best nappers. I ask that you either feed your sweet baby

within 30 minutes of my arrival or while I am setting up. I will provide

blankets, headbands, wraps, quilts, baskets and rugs for our session. If

you have something of importance you’d like included, please feel free.

Please relax and enjoy this time with your baby. We won’t rush, so expect

around 2-3 hours for a full newborn session.

Having three kiddos of my own...I completely understand what it’s like

to have your mind spinning with location decisions, what to wear, props,

perfect poses for the holiday card or for an awesome art piece on the

staircase. So...as best you can--relax! We’ll work together on defining the

perfect location, wardrobe and collection of images that you want to use

to define this priceless moment in your life. Your Roots and Wings are

important to me--let’s capture them!

D y o u r Portrait Session

a n d s h o o t. . .

After our pre-session consultation, we’ll nail down the location, wardrobe

and types of images we’re going for whether it be the silly candids that

display family connections or the great sibling images to send to grandma.

From there, our session will be a blast! I love to interact with the kids on

their level...running, giggling and playing with them. So, allow some goofy

time. I strive to capture real-life happiness and personal relationships. Be

prepared for some sweet kisses and tickle sessions!

Please say no to the jeans and matching white shirts...let your style

shine through. And of course, be comfortable. Nothing is worse

than shoes that pinch or collars that are too stiff. Your images

should shout...YOU! I’ll help guide you through wardrobe choices if

you need an extra set of eyes. Layers are a great way to add depth

to your images, while proving outfit options!

My job as your photographer is to freeze time and highlight these memories as

they are. I want to capture that little two year old smirk or a sweet baby yawn.

I want to give you images that speak to this time in your life...your Roots and

Wings; catch them before they flit away. The best way to see those moments

through my lens is for you to produce them naturally...simply by being yourselves.

If you have a shy one, that’s okay; if your middle daughter is boisterous and runs

circles around you, then let’s catch that. Of course, we’ll get those marvelous family

shots...the ones that our moms want to show off to their friends, but we’ll also

get those silly moments where our families are REAL!

After your order has been placed,

shipments can take up to two

weeks. Prints generally take a week,
