Ryan’s primary practice is focused in the areas of First and Third Party Insurance Defense, Workers’ Compensation, Professional Liability, Products Liability, Subrogation, Environmental & Toxic, and Mass Tort & Class Action. . Ryan attended Louisiana State University and subsequently relocated to The University of Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina. While at The University of Mississippi, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Ryan earned his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi, where he was actively involved in many student organizations and the legal extern program . Following his admission to practice law, Ryan served as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Jackson, Mississippi. While serving as Deputy City Attorney, Ryan’s practice focused on state and federal defense of the Mayor of Jackson, Jackson Police Department, Jackson Fire Department, and Jackson City Council. Ryan also provided training to new recruits and veteran police officers of the Jackson Police Department. After leaving the City Attorney’s Office, Ryan practiced in Oxford, Mississippi with a primary focus on Workers’ Compensation, Subrogation, General Insurance Defense, and Real Estate. Ryan serves as a volunteer judge for high school and college mock trial competitions, as well as law school moot court competitions. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and attending LSU sporting events.
