S & B Hire and Sales Ltd are one of the largest independent UK owned suppliers of Mobile Welfare Vans.

Established in 2014 the directors of S & B identified a requirement for a dedicated supplier of Welfare Vans

that could meet the welfare needs of companies across the UK.

Type Approval is a piece of UK legislation that was introduced in 2013 to ensure that all van conversions meet high standards of safety, have a lower impact on the environment and conform to a consistent production quality. The 'Type' refers to the specifics of the vehicle conversion. Each 'Type' is examined and only when the production processes meet the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) standards can any more of that type be manufactured and sold.

As a unique offering to you we will supply vehicles without any Decals, apart from statutory, welfare unit and chevrons signs. We will install your stickers to the vans upon supply of suitable corporate stickers and remove at end of hire FREE of charge.

We offer a full national delivery and collection service at competitive rates

24 hours a day, 365 days a year delivery & collection service. Maintenance & Breakdown cover 24 hours a day 365 days a year.


Transport when charged will be each way, per van. For reference purposes we have the capabilities in-house to deliver up to 3 vans on our own low loaders, therefore reducing transportation costs further.

Toilet Servicing of welfare van £55.00 per each visit Out of hours call out fee £50.00 £45.00 an hour thereafter.


S & B will provide you with your own dedicated internal account manager who will undertake all your enquiries and management of your account on a daily basis.
