Just take the Clubhouse summer challenge!

The ProblemNearly 7,000 miles away from the United States, a war has been raging in Syria. Many families who believe in God have been forced from their homes. Parents had to leave their jobs. Children had to leave behind toys and friends.

Most of these families now live in refugee camps in nearby countries. They have tents instead of houses. Clean water is hard to come by. Parents can’t work. Children can’t go to school. This war has put 2.6 million children out of school—some for more than four years.

The SolutionClubhouse wants to help. Our friends at Focus on the Family Middle East know people who would love to teach these children English in local churches. Many of these families can’t afford to buy a school uniform. They don’t have the money to pay for their children to go to school.

You may not have a lot of money. But if you have time, energy and courage, you can make a big difference. Just follow these steps,

Step One: Print off a sponsor sheet. (Go to ClubhouseMagazine.com and click on the slide.) Ask your neighbors, family members or friends at church to sponsor you in the “Exercise to Educate” challenge for 10 cents per point. Let them know that all donations will go to Focus on the Family Middle East and are tax-deductible.

Step Two: Earn points by exercising. Any activity counts!

Whether you go to a gym or do push-ups at home, you earn one point for every 20 minutes of exercise. (That’s three points per hour.)

Keep track of your points. Download an exercise log at ClubhouseMagazine.com or make a chart.

Set a goal of at least 100 points. Note: You should stay active all summer, so you can only earn six points per day.

Step Three: At the end of summer, collect money from your sponsors. Checks should be made out to Focus on the Family with “Exercise to Educate” in the memo line.

Send your donations, a complete exercise chart and a photo of you exercising to:
