THE PROBLEM

It is really hard! to come up with an algorithm to

accurately label images.

Page 5: S NAP I T !

The Solution

…To use game as incentive to get people to play the game and at the same time get them to employ their exceptional human computing power to accurately label images with descriptive words.

LIMITATIONS OF CURRENT PROTOTYE &

TRADEOFF

SUMMARY

Page 24: S NAP I T !

Limitation

-cannot calculate word-value (because there is no database.)-Website is not completely dynamic (same images, same keywords…)-Lack of real interactive experience (Only one player can be a real user and other players are simulation)

Tradeoff-Had more time to focus on interface design

SUMMARY

Heuristic evaluation helped my team discover some of UI design’s flaws that we did not spot during usability testing.

When you play SnapIt!, you aren't just having fun, at the same time, you are optimizing image search engines.
