“Whoosh! Mr. Ocax dove in at Poppy.”

SETTING
Time: Present Place: Dimwood Forest, Gray House, New
House, Bannock Hill, Glitter Creek, Cornfield, Ereth’s Log, Mr. Ocax’s Watching Tree, and Tar Road.
CLIMAX AND CONFLICT
Climax Climax is the most
exciting or scariest part of the story.
In Poppy, it is when she is fighting Mr. Ocax with the quill.
Conflict Conflict is the
problem in the story.
In Poppy, Mr. Ocax wanted to eat Poppy.
Also, Mr. Ocax won’t let Poppy and her family move to New House.
