Programme Description

BioMeRA aims to provide secondary school students a holistic experience as a biomedical research student in the School of Biomedical

Sciences and in the CUHK campus. Students ranged from secondary 4 to 6 will be selected to join our Academy from mid-July to late August

during summer. Each participant will be supervised by a Research Mentor to conduct research project ranged from cancer, stem cells,

neurological and vascular diseases, reproductive and developmental biology, bioinformatics, etc. with their research team during the attachment.

The Academy also includes specially designed mini-lectures and workshops in the context of biomedical sciences, and visits to commercial

laboratories.
