Please follow these guidelines to prevent trash, recycling and green waste carts from adding to the issue: • Be aware of stormwater flows in and around your property. • Avoid placing carts and bulky items near stormwater flows, which can create a hazard. In swift moving waters, these items can float and rush out into the street which can create a hazard. • Place trash and recyclables in bags before placing inside a cart. This will help minimize potential spillage. • Place carts back on your property after being serviced to prevent carts from being washed away. Holiday Tree Collection and Recycling Burrtec will collect holiday trees and bushes placed at the curb on your scheduled collection day beginning December 26, 2019 through January 11, 2020. Trees longer than six feet must be cut in half. Please remove ornaments, tinsel, and stands before placing curbside. Holiday Waste Reduction This holiday season choose to reduce your waste! Donate unwanted and usable toys, clothing, bikes and electronic items to local charities instead of throwing them away. There are many local thrift and donation stores that are in need of your gently used items.
