Zoom Class Code & Password will be posted in Google Classroom no more than onehour before the meeting.
A new ID and password will be posted for EVERY lesson.

Students:
1. All classroom norms apply when in a Zoom session. In other words, if you wouldn't do it while in physical class, don't do it while in digital class.
2. Students must also have a quiet area with good lighting available to participate in a Zoom session for when video is permitted. Computer/laptop preferred over cell phone if possible.
3. Students need to remain on mute while the teacher and classmates are speaking. 4. Students must use the Response Icon to raise a hand to be called upon as time permits for
participation. 5. Students should place any questions in the CHAT feature of Zoom. Only questions pertaining to the
current lesson or discussion will be acknowledged and answered.6. Students should immediately mute after speaking. 7. Students must also follow any additional specific guidelines provided by a teacher in each Zoom
meeting not included on this list.8. All chat box notes will be kept as a public record of lessons and therefore, they are expected to
maintain appropriate discussion content, etiquette, and language.9. No recording of a Zoom meeting session may be posted or screen shots taken for any other
purpose other than viewing by the students and teacher in the class. If evidence of this is found, discipline will be administered.
10. Zoom is a privilege that may be revoked if any of the above norms are not followed. 11. DRESS CODE: Students must wear school appropriate clothing. Shorts are allowable, but please
wear modest shorts. No bathing suits allowed. Boys must wear a shirt.12. BATHROOM: No devices should be taken into the bathroom. If you need to take a break - go, but do
NOT take your device with you.

Students:
1. Arrive at the Zoom meeting 5 minutes before assigned time2. Arrive prepared for the lesson (have pen/pencil, notebook or paper)3. Have all previous assignments completed so that you may participate in the discussion.4. We are all learning, so BE PATIENT!5. Utilize the Zoom office hours mentioned above for specific questions about how or what to
do on an assignment.
Overview of a Zoom Lesson:
1. review previous assignment through discussion - 10 minutes2. introduce daily content through mini-lesson, powerpoint, etc. - 20 minutes3. assign activity or task to check for understanding and answer any questions - 10 minutes
Digital Zoom lessons vs. Digital Zoom office hours:
- Every Monday from 9:00-9:40 am. Mrs. Albritton and I will host a Zoom lesson. The lesson will consist of one of us actually teaching a lesson on content material and assigning a follow up task or assignment. Zoom ID and password will be posted to your Google Classroom no more than 1 hour before the meeting.
- Digital Zoom office hours are Wed., Thurs., and Fri. from 9:00-9:40 am. I will be available during this time to answer any questions about Monday’s lesson or help with anything that has been assigned to you. I will keep Zoom open the entire 40 minutes. I will still keep my regular digital hours Monday-Friday 8-10 for e-mail and google classroom.
