To have a meaning for our life, it is the right thing to serve the persons in need and the people craving for help in various aspects of their lives. The main activities of the Trust would be to extend helping hand to the poor people in areas like education, health, feeding of poor, running of old age ashram and orphans ashram etc.

PROJECT ‘Aarogya Mitra’

• To provide Medical Aid in all respects to the poor by running a permanent clinic.• To help the poor in providing monetary aid for the serious medical treatment.• Health Awareness Camps / Programmes Eye Screening for Children during 2009 & 2010 :

S.K.B.M.Municipal High School, A.T.Agraharam - 1100 students (2 phases)

Kavati Sankara Rao Municipal School, R.Agraharam - 550 students

SSSST with the support of our volunteers and Sri VIjaya Hospital staff have done the initial screening in each class room by a reading test through Letter Charts. Then, the students who were unable to read the letters on the charts from a far distance and near distance were sent to the Doctor in another room for further testing.After the screening by the Doctor, children who have nutritional deficiency were advised to take proper diet, and given tablets / syrups containing ‘A’ vitamin. Some children are provided with eye drops.

• Total Children recommended by the Doctor for 500 students Computer Testing at Sri Vijaya Eye Hospital , Kothapet

• Spectacle distributed after identifying Eye sight 290 students

During 2003 – 2007, we have conducted Ten (10) Medical Camps – No. of Beneficiaries - 4500 persons.

‘Aarogya Mitra (Your Health Clinic)

Year 2006 – 2007 : Clinical Services at Trust Training Centre for the benefit of poor and lower middle income groups. A General Doctor was extended Clinical Services on a daily basis from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. No. of Beneficiaries : 500 persons

INFORMATION CENTRE OF MOHAN(MULTI ORGAN HARVESTING AID NETWORK), HYDERABAD

Started Information Centre of MOHAN Foundation, Hyderabad to promote awareness on ‘Organ Donation’. Main activities include the following :

- To Conduct awareness camps in Educational Institutions / Apartments /Nearby Villages

- To display Posters at Hospitals / Trauma Care Centres- Distribution of Leaflets- Issue of Donor Cards etc.,

Medical Camps for the Poor People:

To conduct Annadana Programmes (feeding of poor) on Special Events / Occasions.

SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES :

Inaugurated “ASHRAYA SEVA SADANAM” for Orphaned Old aged and Children” on June 05, 2011 in a Rented Premises in A.T.Agraharam, Guntur.

Conducted No. of Feeding of Poor programs during 2003 – 2009.

• Distribution of Food& Water Packets to the victims of Flood areas :We have distributed 10,000 food packets & 5,000 biscuit packets to the victims of floods at Tulluru Mandal Rehabilitation Centres on 04.10.2009.

OTHER INITIATIVES :Distribution of Umbrellas :

Distributed 50 Umbrellas for the Old aged poor people during rainy season of 2010.

Blood Bank – Donor Grouping

We have started a Blood Bank Donor List attached with SEVA BHARATHI. We have arranged a Blood Grouping Camp In December 2005 and around 48 Members who are willing to donate Blood on Need Base.

Chalivendram :

In the summer season-2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007 we have arranged a Chalivendram( Drinking Water Stall near Bus Stop, G.T.Road, Opp. Tobacco Board Office.

During Admissions for Engineering Counselling, we have arranged Drinking Water Stall at Women’s Polytechnic College for 2 months in 2004 & 2005.

Krishna Pushkarams :

During Krishna Pushkarams held between 28th August – 8th September, ’04(12 days), Trust Volunteers have contributed their voluntary services in Amaravathi Temple Premises by giving Drinking Water, forming Queue Lines in order, counting of collection money in Hundis, helping out the old people at Ghats etc.,

Proposed Orphanage Construction Project

• Planning to procure land, preferably on the national high way of GNT- Chennai or GNT – Hyd(Nalgonda Route), within 10 – 15 Kms. radius.

• Planning to establish for Old Aged, Children and Physically Handicapped - all the three at one place for convenience.

• Planning for 30 Nos. each – Total for 90 members

• Presently, Looking for Donors for the Land for about 1 – 2 Acres.

• After procuring the land, will start the construction work.

• Planning to establish a Training Centre / Education Centre for the children and physically handicapped for self-sustainability.

Request for Financial Assistance Dear Sir, My name is S.D.Tasleem and I would like to bring the following few lines for your kind consideration. I am studying II B.com and due to financial setbacks I have not paid the College Fees so far. My father expired in an accident in my childhood. My mother has taken a 2nd marriage. From that time onwards, I brought up by them. They are giving food for me. They can not pay the college Fees.
