Every GNLD Event seems to outdo the previous and that

was certainly the case with the Opportunity 2010 Meetings.

In Southern Africa these awesome meetings took place in

Johannesburg on the 6th, Durban on the 7th and in Cape

Town on the 9th of February. Equally amazing West African

meetings were held on the 13th and 14th February in Lagos,

the 20th in Abuja and the final meeting was held on the 21st

of February in Accra.

Distributors who attended were delighted and excited to

have the chance to see GNLD Founder, Jerry Brassfield in

the flesh while on his travels around the world spreading the

phenomenal Opportunity 2010 message.

The atmosphere was electric, with Distributors sporting

GNLD apparel and their teams colours. Some were just

dressed to impress - what fantastic ambassadors GNLD

have in their Distributors.

The agenda and phenomenal line-up included inspiring

appearances from successful Distributors who spoke about

their journeys to the top. GNLD President & CEO, Roget Uys

spoke passionately about the GNLD Business Opportunity

while a very personable Dr. André McDonald, (HPC Member,

all the way from Jamaica) discussed, in his youthful, fresh

way, the amazing benefits of GNLD’s Products. The star line-

up was completed by an inspiring straight-from-the-heart-talk

from Founder, Jerry Brassfield. Everyone was captivated by

his presence and words of wisdom. Some lucky Distributors

even had the chance to meet in person and have a photo

taken with him.

Opportunity 2010 meetings were also about recognising Top

Distributors who have made exceptional contributions to

building the GNLD Business during the past year. Regional

President’s and Founder’s Award Winners in several

categories received certificates and trophies, but most

importantly, acknowledgement from their peers. With

This young couple are indeed rising stars in the GNLD

World, they have reached President’s Team Status in just

3 years and aim to see their Distributorship developing

more World Team Members and President’s Team

Members so that they can reach their dream of being 5

Diamond Directors. “We want to show other young people

that the GNLD Business is for everyone” says ex-miner,

Felix.

“We started this Business in 2006. Coming from disadvan-

taged families, we had no role models to look up to.

Everyone around us was struggling to make ends meet.

We knew we had to do something to change our fate, and

live the life we longed for. Searching for alternatives we met

someone who invited us to a business presentation. It

sounded too good to be true but thought that if others

could be successfull, so could we. Life has been very different

Felix and Pinkie enjoy doing the Business as a Team and

The Oloo family originates from Kenya and they enjoy a quiet

existence in the lush suburb of Meyers Park in serene Pretoria.

The family of six has come along way, from the days when

Pascal was a financially frustrated engineer and Beatrice a

school teacher. The couple saw hope in the GNLD Business

and have since been able to enjoy the benefits of being

financially independent, it’s allowed them to provide for their

family and live a comfortable lifestyle.

The family has travelled together on numerous occasions

through the Business and this they find has brought them

closer, they can enjoy the precious times together and cele-

brate their success as a family. Some of their highlights include

having travelled to destinations like San Francisco, Hawaii and

The Palace of the Lost City. “Our next aim is to take our family

abroad to enjoy a wonderful holiday in Rome.”

Pascal says, “The home we’ve lived in now for a number of

years was originally our dream house when we first moved to

South Africa”. They have raised their family of four boys aged

12 to 20 through the hard work they’ve invested in their Business.

Their eldest son is doing his second year at a Pretoria University

pursuing a computer engineering degree, and the other three

boys are all at prestigious schools. The Oloos believe in instilling

values and investing in their children’s futures, they hope to pass

on the Business to the next generation when the time arrives.

Beatrice and Pascal explain, “We are positive about the

The GNLD Diamond Lifestyle holds rewards exceeding

our wildest dreams. Nobody knows this better than 73

top Distributors who experienced the full extent of

glamour, fun and festivities that took place at The Palace

of the Lost City, Sun City from the 22nd to the 26th of

February, 2010, with Founder, Jerry Brassfield.

Celebrations at the 2010 Diamond Lifestyle Event kicked

off with a low-key and relaxed Welcome Reception – an

evening beach party at the Valley of the Waves. The next

three-days were spent making use of the outstanding

facilities and activities on offer. Whatever you wanted –

playing a round of golf, shopping up a storm, making a

splash with numerous water sports, taking in a world-

class show or just taking it easy – you wouldn’t be

disappointed.

One of the most enjoyed activities was a spectacular

game drive where Distributors got to see some of the

world’s most magnificent scenery and exotic wildlife.

What a treat! After this extraordinary experience

attendees where treated to traditional African cuisine at

the renowned Letsatsing Boma. “We’ve never experienced

such amazing hospitality – GNLD has really outdone

themselves” – Member of the President’s Team.

What many Distributors appreciated most was this

special chance to make new friends and renew old

friendships. The four-day event was also an excellent

time to connect with GNLD Executives, plan for the

future and share ideas.

The climax of the Lifestyle event was a glittering Gala

Dinner held in the Royal Chamber where Distribuors got

to celebrate in Diamond style. The evening was wrapped

up with recognition of Global Founder’s and President’s

Award Winners. It was a sad farewell for most, but

GNLD’s Top Distributors are now looking forward to a

bright future and exceptional year ahead with a focus on

building their Businesses and qualifying for the next

Diamond Lifestyle being held in Hawaii.

Since last talking to Darian in mid 2009, he’s been

taking his swimming career to even greater heights.

His recent achievements are absolutely phenomenal,

and they’ve all taken place in a space of a couple of

months.

In October 2009 he won gold in the 200m Individual

Medley and silver in the 100m Individual Medley, at the

FINA/Arena Swimming World Cup, held in Durban. On

November 15, 2009 at another FINA event, this time

held in Berlin Germany, he set a new World Record,

clocking 1:51.55 in the 200m Individual Medley,

beating Olympic Gold Medallist, Michael Phelps who

came in second. In the same month, Darian also set a

new South African record at the Finnish Grand Prix,

held in Tampere, Finland.

Darian has been using Nutritionals since April 2008,

and ever since has been experiencing the GNLD

Difference – in his case, breaking records and bringing

Saskia Schulze has been fighting adversity ever since 2008, when a

tragic motor accident left her paralysed from the waist down. Today,

Saskia is the poster girl for perseverance and courage. Unable to

walk, and looking for a way to stay active, Saskia made a bold

decision to take up competitive swimming, something she had never

done before. Encouraged by Emerald Director, Cherry Faul, Saskia

started training and taking GNLD Supplements.

HPC Member, Dr Barry Bland recommended Saskia start
