Te red, white and blue Delta livery is replacing Northwest colors

on all aircraf and airport signage as the newly merged airline is

established in 2009.

Mesaba, the largest Saab 340Bplusoperator in the world, has a long

history with Northwest and will now serve as a Delta Connection

carrier rom Dallas, Memphis, Atlanta and intra-Florida routes.

Having revitalized the interiors of its 49-strong Saab 340Bplusfleet

with new leather seat cushions and carpet, Mesaba is repainting the

30-seaters in Delta livery.

MESABA IN THE USA

Mesaba Aviation is a regional air carrier providing scheduled

passenger service as Mesaba Airlines/Northwest Airlink. Mesabas

Flybe launched its 2008-09 winter schedule with franchise partner

Loganair offering a low-are airline option or European travelers.

Glasgow-based Loganair repainted its eet of 16 Saab 340s with the

Flybe livery taking a significant step or the Scottish regional airline.

Te Saab 340 provides a reliable and economic platorm or various

operational uses by the armed services and government contracts.

Sweden and other European countries use a modified Swedish Air

Force Saab 340 or photographic reconnaissance operations. Te

Swedish Deense Forces also flies the Saab 340B-AEW model or

military transport and related operations.

Japan Coast Guard operates four Saab 340SAR-200s in surveillance

operations rom Kansai Airport in Osaka and Kagoshima Airport.

Te Argentine Air Force selected the Saab 340B as its middle-size

transport aircraf to serve remote areas in the Patagonia region
