The State Supervision Online (SSO) certificate program is offered 100% online. It meets the requirements of California Government Code Section 19995.4(b) for new supervisor training through an interactive online environment designed around the CalHR Leadership Competency Model. Upon completion of this

CRIME & INTELLIGENCE ANALYSIS Certificate | Starts in January | 6 months of coursework + practicum This program requires an application to be considered for enrollment. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee.
The criminal element of our society continually becomes more sophisticated. New technology enhances law-breaking abilities, allowing for more specialized and complex crimes. Arm yourself with the strategies necessary for solving modern crimes by participating in the Crime and Intelligence Analysis certificate program.
In this program, you will focus on skill development in collecting and analyzing crime data for the forecasting of future crime occurrences. Participants will also learn how criminal profiles are developed, document illicit relationships and use statistical techniques to solve crime problems. You will
receive practical instruction in crime analysis, criminal investigative analysis, organized crime and intelligence analysis, and law enforcement research and statistical methods.
By the end of the program, you will be able to create directed patrol or tactical action plans leading to an effective police response. In addition to the eight required courses, participants need to complete a 400-hour supervised practicum in a crime and intelligence unit of a law enforcement agency, or law enforcement branch of a governmental agency, to demonstrate the practical application of knowledge and skills acquired in the program.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive three certificates from the following organizations:
