Sacred Heart School is now taking Kindergarten Registration for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. As spots are filling
fast, please contact the school office at 250-563-5201 as soon as possible if you would like to give your child the gift of
Catholic education.
The Sacred Heart School Gala 2018 is planned for March 3rd at the Ramada Hotel. The theme will be "Tropical Paradise".
Tickets are now available at the school office.
A number of physical activities are taking place this month at Sacred Heart. The basketball season is in full swing as the
students prepare for the upcoming Basketball Tournament. Thank you to all the coaches and sponsoring teachers. Students
will also continue to participate in the annual skating program during February.
Sacred Heart School students and Staff gathered at Sacred Heart Cathedral for Ash Wednesday Mass on February 14th.
Thank you to Ms. Garden and the Grade Two class who hosted this celebration. Our Lenten share activity is the Brown
Bag program. Students and staff will decorate brown lunch bags and fill them with food items at home. These will be
distributed at the St. Vincent de Paul Drop-in-Centre on Friday evening, February 23rd.
Primary classes marked St. Valentine's Day on February 13th and the 100th Day of School on February 16th with seasonal
activities in the Assembly Space. Sincere thanks to all our special volunteers.

RITE OF ELECTION The Rite of Election for the city parishes will happen on

initiation to the Catholic Church. They are Andrew and

EVANGELIZATION AND FORMATION 1. WOMEN’S MORNING OF RECOLLECTION: “Called by Name: Authentic Personhood in Christ,” is being offered on
