STATIONS OF THE CROSS EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT

DURING LENT AT 7:00pm IN THE CHURCH

Lenten Evening Prayer 2019 Come and deepen your Lenten journey! Join the Trinitarian Sisters for prayer and reflection on the coming Sunday Gospel. Time: 7 – 8:30 pm Dates: Tuesdays, March 12, 19, 26 Place: Trinity Missionary Cenacle (our home) 112 Knob Hill Dr. Warner Robins Please email for more information: [email protected] Or call the church office to connect with the sisters.

“I have brought the first fruits of the products of the soil which you, Lord, have given me.” ~Deuteronomy 26:10 This line from the Old Testament offers two challenges. First, do you give to God from your “first fruits”, the best that you have to offer, or do you give from what is left over? Second, do you recognize that everything you have has been given to you by God? Ask God for a grateful and generous heart, every day, in all circumstances.

STATUS OF CHURCH PROPERTY A decision was made by the Parish Council to take our land off the market. Because of your generosity, we have been able to make our loan payments and pay additional monies against the principal. Based on this and to ensure we have the

land for future growth, to support our next 75 years, and the Bishop’s office approval to keep the land if possible; the property will be taken off the market. If our financial situation changes and income from the land sale is needed to make the monthly mortgage payments, the land can be listed for sale again at that time.

We journey together through Lent. We help each other be faithful to our Lenten disciplines. We remind each other of who we are and what our destination is. I could not be a faithful Christian without you. I could not carry my cross without your help. And I am here to assist you in carrying your cross.

Jesus called us as a community of faith. That is why he sent his disciples out two by two and not alone. Families share this Lenten journey together. Spouses support each other in their fasting and prayer. Children and parents call each other to follow Jesus. We model the disciple’s journey for

each other. We especially keep our RCIA persons in our prayer as they journey with us for the first time.

And of course, Jesus walks with us in these forty days of Lent. His strong arms and Sacred Heart lift us up when we fall, and His Holy Spirit puts a smile on our faces and joy in our hearts as we make this Lenten pilgrimage together.

The film explores the life stories of David, Melissa, Brian and David’s parents, Susan and Jimmy. The film also follows Melissa as she recounts her memories of visiting an Indianapolis abortion facility when pregnant with David. You don't want to miss this powerful testimony to the beauty of adoption as an option. Pizza will be served. Please call or text Margie Rossi at 478-397-3545 if you plan to attend.

A Celebrate Recovery testimony is a personal story of struggle and victory presented by someone who has completed the CR 12 Step program. Hearing someone’s testimony lets us know that we are not alone with our burdens. This Tuesday we will from Curtis Moorman from First Baptist Church of Dublin. Come out and listen! Don’t come because you have a problem. Come because you think you don’t. Tuesday at 7:00 PM in the PAC Cafeteria. Safe place. No mask. No judgement. Absolute confidentiality.
