H oly Water Fonts Why are there holy water fonts at the doors of the church building? We came into the church through the waters of baptism. This was the beginning of our initiation process. Each time we come into the church building we remind ourselves of our baptism by blessing ourselves with the holy water “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” Baptistries used to be near the entrance of the church building or even in a separate building near the front doors. Only after baptism did the person enter into the room of the celebrating assembly .

Adoración al Santisimo
Adoración al Santísimo se lleva a cabo el primer viernes de cada mes de las 10:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. y luego de las 10:00 p.m. hasta las 7:00 a.m. el sábado.
L as pilas del agua bendita ¿Por qué hay pilas de agua bendita a la entrada del tem-plo? Entramos a la Iglesia a través de las aguas del bautismo. Esto fue el comienzo de nuestro proceso de iniciación. Cada vez que entramos al templo nos acordamos de nuestro bautismo al bendecirnos con el agua bendita “en el nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo”. Los bautisterios estaban cerca de la entrada del templo o in-cluso en un edificio separado próximo a las puertas del frente. Hasta después del bautismo la persona entraba al recinto de la iglesia.
