The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process through which adults become full members of the Roman Catholic Church. The RCIA is based on a lifelong faith formation model. There are
several stages involved in the process beginning with a period of inquiry to find out more about Catholicism. As individuals are ready, the parish celebrates certain rites (rituals) that signify the end of one stage and the beginning of another. Please come join Deacon Jim Lonick starting Tuesday, September 29 in the Center Upper Conference Room to complete your journey in joining the Catholic Church. Inspiration for the week
It is not easy to confront someone who has
wronged or hurt us. But it is absolutely necessary
to do so in order for reconciliation to occur. We
are taught to mind our own business and keep
our thoughts to ourselves. When we have been
hurt or wronged and we do not acknowledge
and give voice to it, those feelings of hurt remain
in our hearts and can eventually turn into anger.
Verbalizing our feelings can diffuse them, and
communicating how we actually feel brings
honesty to our relationships. This is the only way
that the path of love can remain open and that
integrity and mutual respect can be maintained. It
is no wonder that Jesus absolutely insisted upon
healthy and compassionate confrontation. People
don’t always realize that they are doing harm.

Our Sacred Heart Catholic School Family is FINALLY together again and it fills our hearts! Oh,
how we have missed the sound of little voices, middle school laughter, and PURE JOY in our lunchroom,
hallways, on the playground and in our classrooms. It was a blessed union for us all!
