Prayer During A Health Crisis

Compassionate and Loving Father,

In the face of confusion and concern

impart to us the calm of your presence.

In You allow us to find hope and healing.

Be with those who serve the sick and give them

Your caring hands.

Be with those who lead and give them Your

Spirit of wisdom.

Be with those who have fallen ill and give them

Your comforting heart.

Wrap your arms around our world

and hold us in your love.

Allow us at this time of trial to then

serve as instruments of that love to all we meet.

We ask this in Your Name.

Amen.

myself wholly to You. Never permit me be

the gravesites per Sacred Heart Parish

Cemetery protocol. Artificial flowers removed can

be found next to the cemetery shed in the northeast

corner of the cemetery. They will be held until the

end of June.

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE REPOSE OF THE SOULS

of all you have passed away from COVID19

Eternal rest grant among them O Lord, and let per-

petual light shine upon them. May the souls of the

faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in

peace.

FAITH DIRECT. Many thanks to all faithful members

of our parish family for your generous support of our many

ministries. As a result of our invitation to consider Faith

Direct (our online giving program), mailed to all parishion-

ers in March, twentyfour families joined with the 120+

families already enrolled. As you are aware, many busi-

nesses remain closed or will continue to be impacted by the

coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic and our parish is no

different. More than ever, people from the community are

looking to us for spiritual guidance and support and we want

to be there for them. During this time of social distancing,

Sacred Heart depends on online donations to continue our

ministry. We prayerfully invite you to sign up for eGivng

from your computer, smartphone or tablet by visiting faith.

Direct/MD244. Thank you for your continued support of

our parish family.

Most times, we believe being a missionary means going to a

faraway land. However, preaching the Gospel message of Jesus

Christ and being a missionary is not always about going

away.Sometimes it means staying right where we are and us-

ing the gifts God has given to bring Christ to another. We can

be a missionary from home!

Pray set time every day to have a personal conversation with

God.Throughout the day stop, talk to Jesus. Simply say a Hail

Mary, an Our Father or even the prayer the angel taught the

children in Fatima, “My God I believe, I adore, I hope and I

love you!I ask pardon of you for those who do not believe, do

not adore, do not hope and do not love you!”These little pray-

ers will draw our hearts and minds closer to God.

Bring love and joy to the family spend time with spouse,

parents, brothers, and sisters face to face or via FaceTime. Pray

together, eat meals together, play games together, laugh togeth-

er, etc. Jesus says, “For where two or three are gathered to-

gether in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” MT

18:20.Imitate the Holy Family.

Sanctify Make holy the work that God has given each of

us. All the work we do throughout the day at home whether it

be work, schoolwork, chores, games, etc., do it with love and

offer it to God.St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, “Do small

things with great love.”Small things brings us closer to God

and makes us saints.
