THIS school year, Sacred
Heart Academy of La
Loma took one huge leap
in having the RF ID stu-
dent monitoring system
powered by HEAD-
START Business Solu-
tions, Inc.
Sacredian students now
tap their RF ID’s on the
machine then a text mes-
sage of the time of their
entrance to and exit from
the school will automati-
cally be sent to their par-
ents.
“We’ve been receiving a
lot of positive response
from the students and par-
ents about it,” SHALL
Principal Mrs Corazon J.
Lomibao said.
However, Mrs Lomibao
cited that the machine has
been undergoing an up-
grading process to address
some concerns and tech-
nical glitches.

Grade 1 enrolment soared
36% this school year.
SHALL registered 53 stu-
dents for Grade 1 now, 19
students higher than last
year’s 34.
This number is even 9%
higher than the enrolment
two years ago which regis-
tered only 48 students.
In total, SHALL gained a
2% increase in overall en-
rolment after posting 538
students, 3 students higher
than last year’s 535.
“It’s really been an auspi-
cious year for all of us.
This increase shall be cred-
ited to our improved facili-
ties and good marketing
strategies,” SHALL Princi-
pal Mrs Corazon J.
Lomibao said.
She also said that SHALL
has very good teachers
that’s why students are
always coming back and
“really feel that it’s their
second home”.
