Saddle StitchAsimpleovercastingstitch,usuallyofathreadcontrastingincolorwiththefabric,usedprimarilyasornamenton clothing. A saddle stitch is a decorative, overcasting stitch that is made at a hem, collar, cuff, pocket or on any other visible outer side.
