SafeAir Smoke Evacuator integrates a specific vacuum technology that provides:
4 Powerful aspiration even through tubings with reduced lumen The important factor for efficient smoke evacuation is how much aspiration flow the pump can generate at the source of smoke, i.e. within 2 cm of the tip of the diathermy electrode. That’s where SafeAir Smoke Evacuator makes a difference. Connected to a SafeAir Smoke Pencil, it provides an aspiration of 96 l/min where the smoke appears.
4 Immediate respons with maximum power The vacuum technology of SafeAir Smoke Evacuator is able to deliver its maximum aspira-tion power within tenth of a second of the activation. As a result, even the very first plu-mes generated are captured, and will not propagate in the OR; series of rapid diathermy burns will not spread the acrid smell neither.
Surgical plumes contain toxic gases and viable cellular material that might carry infectious agents. The plumes should be evacuated from the OR. The best capture is achieved with an electrosurgery pencil providing aspiration of smoke within 2 cm of the source.

In addition, SafeAir Smoke Evacutor can be synchronised with any ESU simply by run-ning the cable of the handpiece through a sensor.
