Our Services
Farmsafe offers a comprehensive range of services for rural and related industries to assist workplaces to manage their Work Health and Safety risks within the workplace.
• Development of Safety Management Systems;
• Workplace advisory (hazard analysis) and auditing;
• “Managing Farm Safety” course for owners, managers and supervisors;
• Staff induction training packages;
• Specific training courses such as “Operate Vehicles”;
• Electrical awareness for working near live exposed parts; and
• Hazardous Chemical Management, including AusChem Accreditation and ‘Statement of Attainment’ for Commercial Operator’s Licenses.
Training and Induction
Farmsafe Queensland Training is a Registered Training Organisation. We offer training and assessment up to Certificate V including:
• flexible packages designed to meet the Work Health and Safety requirements for your situation, and
• induction kits specifically designed for your workplace and quality assurance programs.
• The Managing Farm Safety course is specifically designed for property owners, managers and supervisory staff who are responsible for managing a rural property. The course is also excellent for those managing a farm for commercial, education and/or research purposes. It is delivered over 2 days, preferably ‘on-site’. Participants will be assessed against the AHC Training Package Level IV element of competency AHCOHS401A-Maintain Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
