Warren Lodge (Life Brand)

A bit about myself: I headed straight out of my studies at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan

University as an advertising consultant. This involved helping businesses identify their

unique offering and to conceptualise advertisements for print publications in addition to

managing the design thereof. That opened up an opportunity to work for Ads24, working on

daily and community press on a national level and then afterwards for DStv Media Sales as

a key accounts manager in Cape Town and Durban. Whilst dealing with advertising

agencies and learning about media strategy at the coalface, I studied a major in media

planning at AAA school of advertising and went on to do honours in brand leadership at

VEGA. I’m also a part of the Advertising and Marketing Association of South Africa, AMASA

(currently Chairperson) and I serve on the VEGA Advisory Council.

I have a heart for people and I decided to go the brand strategy route and to target

organisations that are driving social change. After 10 years within the Naspers group, I

joined a boutique brand agency and then started up LIFE brand at the end of 2013. I'm doing

what I always wanted to do, create and innovate whilst being an active citizen.

About LIFE brand: LIFE brand is a communications agency for the social sector. We

revamp, create and build brands. We look at all the touchpoints that your brand needs to

develop to communicate effectively with your target audience in way that achieves desired

objectives.

Much grace
