Issues Faced

Godrej had Oracle Express System for creating MIS reports using adata warehouse

The support for Oracle Express version used by Godrej was no

longer available.

Maintenance cost was high

The Oracle System used required lot of coding to accumulate databefore being used finally as BI compliant data repository

Tab 1 - Sampark Sales Analysis - This will capture the Secondary Sales information.The reports will show the Retailing Value across Product, time and Sales force

hierarchy upto the Retailer Level. The retailing value is made available for both Sampark

and Non Sampark Distributors.

Tab 2 - Sales Analysis - This will capture the Primary Sales Related information. The

reports will show Primary Sales and Stock as well as Secondary Sales and Stock

across Product, time and Sales force up to the distributor level.

SSRS Reports (S L Server 

Reporting Services)

With the help of SSRS reports users can do drill down to the lowest level w.r.t a

single dimension. For e.g. : If a sales force dimension has BSM->ASM->FO

levels in a hierarchy we can drill down from BSM to ASM and then from ASMto FO.
