300 Club: Our 300 Club needs members.
Membership is only $20. There are no meetings to
attend. Your membership in the club gives you a
chance to win $25 each week over the course of 19
weeks. In the final week the grand prizes are $500,

Baptisms
Baptisms are held on Saturdays and Sundays in both
churches. Baptisms must be scheduled at least 2
months in advance. New parents are required to at-
tend a Baptism Parents class. Please call the rectory to
find out when the next class will be held and/ or to
schedule a baptism.
Register If you would like to register with the parish, please
call the rectory on weekdays between 9am—3:30pm.
We can register you right over the telephone. Spon-
sor letters for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confir-
mation are only issued to registered members of the
parish.
Wedding
To arrange a wedding at St. Adalbert/St. Roch Parish,
consult with a priest at least six months prior to the pro-
posed date and before social arrangements. Attendance
at Pre-Cana and Natural Family Planning classes is re-
quired.
Anointing of the Sick
Communion to the Homebound
Please notify the Parish Office when serious illness
occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are
confined to home for an extended period. Arrange-
ments can be made to bring communion to those un-
able to attend Mass. Please contact Parish Office at #

Food Pantry
The cold Winter months can be even colder on an empty stomach. Please consider mak-
ing a donation to our food pantry. Our food pantry doors will be open on Tuesday, January 14
from 5pm—7pm. Non perishable foods please: canned goods, rice, pasta, breakfast cereal,
childrens snacks, oatmeal and peanut butter and jelly.
Following Christ
Join us for our parish Lenten Mission
beginning Sunday, February 16 at 5:30pm in
the Parish Hall. Reservations required. Com-
mitment for 7 weekly sessions to be held on
Sunday evenings plus one Saturday after-
noon. See insert for reservation form and
more information. (This is a free program) .
Columbiettes: Will meet on Tuesday, January 14 at
11am in the parish hall.
Carmelites: Will meet for formation and 12 pm
mass on Saturday, January 18 at 9:15am in St Adal-
bert rectory.
Prayer Group: Invite you to their next meeting on
Tuesday, January 21 at 7pm in the parish hall. They
will have a guest speaker. Refreshments will be
served.
Altar Servers: We are looking for altar servers. If
your child would like to serve the parish in a very
special way, please call the rectory. Altar servers
must be in the 4th grade (or higher) and already re-
ceived First Communion.
Save the Date: The Holy Name Society is sponsor-
ing a Communion Breakfast on Sunday, February 9
at 11am in the Parish Hall. More information to
come!
Palm Burning: Join us as we make ashes for Ash
Wednesday on Saturday, February 22 following the
5pm mass in St Adalbert Church. If you have old
palms you would like to donate please bring them to
one of our churches or the St. Roch rectory before
February 22.
Bingo: Join us for bingo games in the parish hall
every Friday nights. Bring a friend or come alone
and make new friends. Doors open at 6pm. Bingo
supplies and refreshments available for purchase.

Despensa de Alimentos
Nuestra despensa de alimentos estará abierta
el martes 14 de enero de 5pm a 7pm. No podemos
hacer lo que hacemos sin la generosidad de nuestros
feligreses. Por favor considere donar algunos alimen-
tos no perecederos a nuestra despensa. Los alimentos
enlatados, el arroz, la pasta, los cereales para el desa-
yuno y la avena para niños, los bocadillos escolares
para niños y la mantequilla de maní y mermelada son
los más necesarios.
Quema de palmeras: Únase a nosotros mientras ha-
cemos cenizas para el miércoles de ceniza el sábado
22 de febrero después de la misa de las 5 p.m. Si
tiene palmeras viejas que le gustaría donar, tráigalas a
una de nuestras iglesias o a la rectoría de San Roque
antes del 22 de febrero.
Misa del jueves por la noche: Únase a nosotros para
amss y devoción los jueves por la noche a las 7 p.m.
Miércoles de Ceniza: Este año, el Miércoles de Ce-
niza será el 26 de febrero. Habrá una misa en español
a las 7 am en la iglesia de San Roque. Consulte la
página 2 de este boletín para ver nuestro horario com-
pleto de misas del miércoles de ceniza.
Noche en las carreras: La Sociedad del Santo Nom-
bre patrocinará un Nite at the Races en el Salón Par-
roquial el sábado 25 de enero. Compre sus boletos
temprano. Este evento se agotará.
Siguiendo a Cristo: Únase a nosotros para la Misión
Espiritual Cuaresmal que comienza el domingo 16 de
febrero a las 5:30 pm en el Salón Parroquial. Se re-
quieren reservaciones. Compromiso de 7 sesiones
semanales que se celebrarán los domingos por la no-
che más un sábado por la tarde. Incluye cena, cine y
discusión. Bilingüe. Películas y materiales en inglés,
pero el grupo de discusión será en español. Vea el

ción. Este programa es gratis.
