Come and spend time with our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration every Friday from 7:30pm—8:30pm.

Remember in our prayers those who have died, their family members and friends. For those in harm’s way, their family and friends. For the parishioners who are sick.

Please consider a donation to the flower fund today. Please stop by Parish Office to pick up a form, check the Church back shelf or visit our website at www.stanthonyparish.org.

Dear Friends, Does it ever seem like God is inconvenient in your life? Does it seem at other times that He is distant or faraway when you need Him? Does it ever happen that you are far from Him simply out of neglect or constant activity? The truth is this: God is always close to us and everything is better when we acknowledge that truth. To acknowledge it would mean we live by it, we give Him the freedom to be more active in our lives because we freely accept Him and invite Him into all aspects of the things we do. Try this: fix into your mind and memory a line or two from today's Responsorial Psalm. Here are two suggestions: “I love you, Lord, my strength.” Or “Praised be the Lord, I exclaim, and I am safe from my enemies.” With either or both of those phrases ready in your mind you can quickly and easily and frequently call on the Lord throughout the day. Of course there are many others to try, including simply repeating with faith the Name of Jesus. Give it a try. Discover how close He is and how helpful. Congratulations to the twelve couples who were married last Saturday here at the parish! In one ceremony! And many thanks to Fr. Alan and his team who worked for months to prepare the couples and to organize the Mass and reception. It was a special day. We pray for the newlyweds. Thanks as well to everyone who participated in the Ministry Fair. If even one person becomes more involved in the life of the parish family, it was a successful day. Lastly, the new (to us) organ has been installed! I hope you will hear it played very soon. With my prayers, Fr. Matthew Zuberbueler

Te invito a tratarlo.

Stewardship of Time and Talent / Corresponsabilidad de Tiempo y Talento You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. – MATTHEW 22:37 Do you put other “gods” before God? Is your love of money, power, status or some personal pos-session greater than your love for God? Do you really recognize that everything you have and everything you are is a gift from God? The good news – it’s not too late to put God first in your life in all things.

Dear Fellow St. Anthony Parishioners, We were so blessed to have Bishop Burbidge come and visit our school. We’re grateful to have a bishop who is so committed to Catholic education that he made time out of his busy schedule to celebrate Mass with us, visit with all the grades and have lunch with the entire faculty

and staff! We’re grateful for all this, but most importantly, that he sends us faithful priests who are equally dedicated to forming your sons and daugh-ters at our school to be disciples for Christ! Thank you, Bishop Burbidge for this blessing! During the ministry fair last Sunday, Father Z. introduced two of his “friends” to a few of our new (happy) students who joined our Corpus Christi family this very year, just like him! I invite you to consider joining our school family, too, and discover all the gifts we have to offer our students: a faith-filled community in which a personal love for Jesus is fostered so we can grow in knowledge and better serve Him and His Church. Please join us for our Open House at the elementary/middle school campus (across the parking lot) on Friday, November 17th 10am-11:30am. If you’ve been to any of our past 38 Christmas Attic Craft Fairs, then I’m sure I’ll see you there on November 4th 9am-4pm! If you’ve never been then you can’t miss the opportunity to experience a wide variety of vendors and excit-ing new silent auction items such as, ski resort packages, $5,000 in ortho-dontic services, a laptop, six wonderfully themed classroom baskets created by our students, and even a chance to be Principal of our school for a day! Sincerely Yours in Christ, Ms. Buçaj Principal
