TIN VÀO CHÚA QUAN PHÒNG
“Cứ xin thì sẽ được, cứ tìm thì sẽ thấy, cứ gõ thì sẽ mở cho.” (Lc 11,10)
Suy niệm: Xem ra hôm nay Lời Chúa thật hấp dẫn với ước muốn của mọi người: “Cứ xin thì sẽ được, cứ tìm thì sẽ thấy, cứ gõ thì sẽ mở cho.” Thế nhưng thực tế lại không như vậy. Ngày nay vẫn còn nhiều người quan niệm Thiên Chúa như vị thần của Alibaba, chỉ cần đọc câu thần chú “Vừng ơi! Mở cửa!” là tự khắc cánh cửa kho tàng sẽ mở ra cho họ. Có những người xin mà không được, tìm mà không thấy, gõ mà không cánh cửa nào mở ra cho họ. Thực ra khi chúng ta cầu xin, Chúa luôn luôn đáp lời và ban cho chúng ta điều tốt nhất “hơn cả những gì lòng người dám ước mong” (Lời nguyện Chúa Nhật XX Thường niên); Chúa không chỉ “mở cửa” khi chúng ta gõ mà hơn thế nữa, Ngài còn đứng ngoài cửa tâm hồn chúng ta gõ (x. Kh 3,20) mong chúng ta tỉnh thức mở cửa đón Ngài (x. Lc 12,36tt) để Ngài vào ân thưởng cho chúng ta, những người tôi trung của Ngài.
Mời Bạn: Bạn rất vui khi có được điều mình mong muốn, nhưng đồng thời lại thật buồn khi không được như ý. Phải chăng bạn cầu xin được như ý bạn chứ không phải cầu xin cho “ý Cha thể hiện dưới đất cũng như trên trời”? Phải chăng bạn đòi Chúa phải theo ý Bạn thay vì Bạn phó thác để Ngài dẫn dắt?
Chia sẻ: Người ta hay nói: “Trong cái rủi có cái may.” Bạn có thấy mình gặp may khi đối diện với rủi ro không?
Sống Lời Chúa: Cố gắng tìm thánh ý Thiên Chúa trong mọi biến cố vui - buồn của ngày sống, để biết rằng Chúa luôn có mặt khắp mọi nơi và mọi lúc.
Cầu nguyện: Lạy Chúa, con tin Chúa đang hiện diện trong cuộc đời con, xin thêm đức tin cho con để con nhận ra thánh ý Chúa và quyết tâm thi hành.

Thánh Christina
Thánh Christina sinh trong thế kỷ thứ ba và là con gái của một quan tòa giầu có và thế lực tên Urbain. Cha của ngài, là người đắm chìm trong việc thờ cúng tà thần, có rất nhiều các tượng thần bằng vàng mà thánh nữ đã tiêu hủy và lấy vàng phân phát cho người nghèo
Tức giận vì hành động này, ông Urbain trở nên người hành hạ chính con gái mình. Ông ra lệnh dùng roi đánh con và ném con vào ngục tối. Christina vẫn không lay chuyển đức tin. Người cha ra lệnh dùng móc sắt để xé thân thể con gái mình và cột cô vào tấm vỉ mà bên dưới đang cháy lửa. Nhưng Thiên Chúa đã gìn giữ tôi tớ Người bằng cách khiến lửa bắn tung vào kẻ hành hình. Sau đó Christina bị quấn cổ bằng một tảng đá lớn và ném xuống hồ Balsena, nhưng ngài được thiên thần cứu sống, trong khi cha ngài, vì tức giận mà chết.
Quan toà kế vị Urbain cũng tàn nhẫn không kém. Ông ra lệnh thiêu sống Christina, nhưng ngài vẫn sống sót. Ngài bị ném vào chuồng đầy rắn, sau đó bị cắt lưỡi và sau cùng bị tên đâm thâu qua người. Ngài được triều thiên tử đạo ở Tyro. Di tích của thánh nữ hiện vẫn còn giữ ở Palermo thuộc Sicily.

Mónica estaba exasperada. La madre nunca dejó de rezar por su hijo. Finalmente, Agustín abandonó su rebeldía, fue bautizado y luego ordenado y nombrado obispo de Hipona. TRADICIONES DE NUESTRA FE Por siglos, Latinoamérica ha desarrollado una larga tradición religiosa con mitología espléndida. La palabra "religión" del verbo latín religere significa "atar" o "enlazar". Su función es unir seres humanos, los unos con los otros, con lazos de caridad y justicia. Una vez enlazados en comunidad, la religión los une al poder divino que rige el universo. Entre las culturas andinas se encuentran mitos religiosos que muestran la importancia de este enlaza-miento. Según la mitología Inca el universo esta compuesto por tres mundos: el cielo (Janan pacha), la tierra (Cay pacha) y el bajo tierra (Ucu pacha). Estos tres mundos están unidos por dos grandes serpientes, Yacú-mama (ríos) y Sacha-mama (árboles), símbolos de la fecundidad. Muchos piensan que los mitos son leyendas cuya función es el entretenimiento. En realidad los mitos no son fábulas, son historias que explican la verdad profunda del universo. Nos muestran como unirnos y en-lazarnos para vivir una vida fecunda.
