Annual Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service Sunday, Nov. 20 at 7 P.M. at the Church of the Living

God, 343 Beaver Ave. The speaker will be the Reverend Westbrook, Pastor of Faith Temple Chapel:

Church of God in Christ. A free-will offering will be taken for a local charitable cause, and a Social will

follow. Sponsored by the Midland Ministerium. All are welcome! Please join us!

2016 Retirement Fund for Religious Second Collection - Nov. 19 & 20

Aging religious need our help! Thousands of senior Sisters, Brothers, and Religious Order Priests spent years working in Catholic schools, hospitals, and agencies—

often for little pay. Their sacrifices leave their Religious Communities without adequate savings for retirement

and eldercare. Your gift to the Retirement Fund for Religious helps provide prescription medications,

nursing care, and more. Thank you for giving to those who have given a lifetime!

Today we give a special welcome to the Knights of Columbus, Midland Council #2005 and their guests for their annual Memorial Mass for Deceased Members. It is a great time for us to express our heart-

felt appreciation to the Knights for all of the ways they help our Parish Family throughout the year—Thank You!

It was very consoling to see so many people gather for our Parish Memorial Mass this past week. A special note of gratitude to Roberta Noah, Georgiana Olszanski, and Virginia Samosky for their help in continuing this beautiful November tradition for our Parish Family.

With the Feast of Christ the King today we draw near to the conclusion of the Church Year. Many thanks again to Ed & Alice Weiland for growing and donating all the beautiful pumpkins and gourds we enjoyed for this whole month of November. Thanks also to Andy & Mary Janicki and Joe Sitko for helping with the decorating to make the Church look so spectacular for Autumn!

A good way to begin this Thanksgiving week is with the Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service this evening (please see below). Then on Thanksgiving Day we have Mass at 9 A.M. I know it is busy, but if at all possible, please

join us! Happy Thanksgiving!
