painted. It has been over 10 years since it was last painted. This is a significant expenditure. Any donations towards the cost

my 40th Ordination Anniversary. You are cordially invited to this joyful celebration followed by a catered brunch in the

school hall. I hope that as many of you as possible will celebrate with me on this special anniversary.

First Sunday of Advent Advent is a season of waiting. All of us are waiting for the

coming of Christ and as the Gospel says, “You do not know when the Lord is coming.” Pray for the strength to follow Jesus, to keep Him in mind even though the incessant commercialism

of the season tries to turn our attention away from Him. And pray for the courage to introduce Jesus to others.

CHRISTMAS POINTSETTIAS Christmas Poinsettias will be placed in the Church for the Holiday Season. If you would like to make a donation in memory of a loved one, please send your contribution to the Parish Office with the names printed with your phone number. The suggested donation is $10. The names of those remembered will be included in a flower list which will be inserted in the bulletin the weekend of Christmas. We meet at 5:00PM on Wednesday, December 27, at the parish center. Bus to Roll on America, rental

skates or roller blades (or bring your own), unlimited use of entire arena until 8:00 PM, break

and 10 arcade tokens until 8:30PM, and then PRIVATE and unlimited use until 10:30 PM with free snack bar food and beverage included, dodge ball, skating, referee, disk jockey, and laser tag, all

for only $45. Please return money and slips, at-tached or available at class or office,

by December 18th.
