Education Program before being baptized.
BAUTISMOS: Para inscribir a su hijo/a para el bautismo,

CORPUS CHRISTI: Celebraremos el Santísimo
Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo el domingo 3 de
junio de 2018. Tendremos nuestra procesio n en la
calle despue s de la misa de las 11:30 am. Invitamos
a todos los niños que recibirán su Primera
Comunión este año, y sus padres para unirse a la
procesio n con el Santí simo Sacramento.
R.C.I.A. – Ya estamos
recibiendo inscripciones para los adultos mayores de 18
años que necesiten los sacramentos del Bautismo, la
Confirmación y la Eucaristía. Los preparativos comienzan
en junio de 2018 de 7:00 a 8:30 PM en la Rectoría. Si
planea casarse y no ha hecho ninguno de los sacramentos,
regístrese. Para registrarse, vea a la Sra. Gina en la Rectoría
o llame a la oficina parroquial para obtener más
información. Si es bautizado, traiga una copia del
certificado de bautismo, si no lo hizo, traiga una copia del
certificado de nacimiento.
ORACIONES: Por favor, oren para que se encuentre el
cuerpo de la Hermana Angela, IHM. Ella estaba en la
comunidad de la Hermana Mary. Ella fue asesinada por su
sobrino en un acto de violencia doméstica el sábado 28 de
abril en Scranton, Pensilvania. La policía cree que su
cuerpo fue llevado a algún lugar y están registrando la zona.
Hagan una oración para que la encuentre pronto, Gracias.
CORONACIÓN DE LA BENDITA VIRGEN
MARÍA: Concluiremos el mes de Nuestra Señora la
Virgen Maria en la fiesta de la Visitación de la
Santísima Virgen María. Esto es el jueves, 31 de
mayo de 2018. Tendremos dos misas bilingües. La
primera misa a las 8:15 a.m. por la mañana y la otra a
las 7:30 p.m. por la tarde. Por la noche celebraremos
la misa primero y luego procederemos afuera con
nuestra madre rezando el rosario. Volveremos a la
iglesia cantándole a María para su
coronación, finalizando con un compartir en el salón
parroquial. Les pedimos a todos nuestros grupos
marianos en la parroquia que traigan algo para
compartir. La parroquia proporcionará agua y
refrescos.
MOVIMIENTO JUAN XXIII: Tendrá su retiro # 78
para mujeres el próximo mes de Junio 22, 23, y 24 del
2018, tenemos 3 fichas disponibles. Para más

PASEO AL PARQUE: Nuestros hermanos Cursillista
están invitando a todos a su paseo anual de la sección # 8
al parque del estado Rockland el próximo junio 18 del
2018 saliendo desde frente a la iglesia Sta. Cecilia/Agonía
a las 7:45 en punto. Para más información hablar con la

LA APELACIÓN ANUAL DEL CARDENAL: Animo a
todos nuestros feligreses de Santa Cecilia y Santa Agonía a
que contribuyan en la Campaña Anual del Cardenal, poe
que con su aportacion podremos alcanzar nuestra meta
de veintinueve mil dólares ($ 29,000.00) de este año.
FIESTA DE BLOQUE: El sábado 23 de junio de 2018
tendremos nuestra fiesta del bloque. Para que tenga éxito,
necesitamos la ayuda de todos nuestros feligreses. Co-

MISA EN LA CALLE: Nosotros en Santa Cecilia / Ago-
nia estamos comprometidos a evangelizar en nuestro vecin-
dario. Nos comprometemos a traer personalmente a al-
guien nuevo a la iglesia el domingo 1 de julio. Nos com-
prometemos a trabajar arduamente en nuestros diferentes
grupos de devoción para cumplir nuestra meta de atraer
gente a este evento eucarístico. Nos comprometemos como
feligreses a ayudar a publicitar el evento en nuestros
edificios. Que el Espíritu Santo esté con nosotros en esta
gran misión.
MANHATTAN JUNTOS: Tendremos una acción en
el lugar identificado para la construcción de viviendas
asequibles para adultos mayores en nuestro vecindario.
La acción tendrá lugar el domingo 27 de mayo
después de la misa de las 11:30 a.m. Necesitamos un
grupo considerable de doscientas personas en esta lu-
gar durante aproximadamente media hora. Por favor,

R.C.I.A. – registration is now open for adults 18 years old
and up who needed the sacraments of Baptism,
Confirmation and Eucharist. Preparations begin in June,
2018 from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Rectory. If you are
planning to get married and have not done any of the
sacraments please register. To register please see Ms. Gina
in the Rectory or call the parish office for more
inforamation. If you are Baptized please bring a copy of
Baptism Certificate if not baptize please bring a copy of
birth certificate.
THE CARDINAL’S ANNUAL APPEAL: I encourage all
our parishioners of Saint Cecilia and Holy Agony to give to
the Cardinal’s Annual Appeal, thus help us reach our goal
of twenty nine thousand dollars ($29,000.00) this year.
CORONATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN
MARY: We will conclude the month of Our Lady on
the feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
This is Thursday, May 31st, 2018. We will have two
bilingual masses. The first Mass at 8:15am in the
morning and the other at 7:30pm in the evening. In
the evening we will celebrate the mass first and
then procede outside with our lady praying the
rosary. We will come back to church for the crowing
of Our Lady. Thereafter we will have fellowship in the
parish hall. We ask all our Marian groups in the parish
to bring something to share. The parish will provide
water and sodas.

CORPUS CHRISTI: We will celebrate the Most Holy
Body and Blood of Christ on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018. We
shall have our street procession after the 11:30am Mass. We
invite all the children who will receive their First Holy
Communion this year, and their parents to join the
procession with the Blessed Sacrament.
English Retreat: Join St. Martin de Porres Society for an
English speaking retreat, at the San Alphonso Retreat
House in Long Branch, New Jersey from August 24th to
August 26. The retreat cost is $220 and requires a $50
non-refundable deposit by June 30th. Please call Ann

PRAYERS: Please pray that the body of Sister Angela,
IHM is found. She was in Sister Mary’s community. She
was murdered by her nephew in act of domestic violence
Saturday, April 28th in Scranton, PA. The police believe
that her body was taken someplace and are searching the
area. Say a prayer she is found soon. Thank you.
BLOCK PARTY: On Saturday, June 23rd, 2018 we will
have our block party. In order for it to be successful we
need help from all our parishioners. Please contact the
organizers at (646)264 - 8269 or (646) 431 – 5692 for
more information. Pass the word around to people who are
interested in buying a space to sell their products. We will
have good music, children’s float, a clown and a variety of
foods. Come and let us party.
STREET MASS: We at Saint Cecilia and Holy Agony
Church are committed to evangelize in our neighborhood.
We commit to personally bring someone new to church
on Sunday, July 1st. We commit to work hard in our
different devotional groups to meet our goal of bringing
people to this Eucharistic event. We commit ourselves as
parishioners to help in advertising the event in our
buildings. May the Holy Spirit be with us in this great
mission.
MANHATTAN TOGETHER: Will have an
action at the site identified for building seniors
affordable housing in our neighborhood. The
action will take place on Sunday, May 27th
after the 11:30am mass. We need sizeable
group of two hundred persons on the site for
about half an hour. Please see the leaders at
the back of the church after the mass.
