LIMPIEZA DE LA IGLESIA: Esto depende de la

TEMAS PARA EL DEBATE: Tenemos tres temas

que nos gustaría ofrecer a nuestros feligreses: Primero,

qué es la depresión y cómo la manejamos. Segundo,

¿alguna vez has experimentado un trauma y cómo lo

manejas? Tercero, ¿qué son las influencias malignas,

la posesión demoníaca y el exorcismo?

GRACIAS: a Carlos Díaz por encabezar el con-

cierto, buscar patrocinadores, vender entradas, buscar

músicos y planificar todo el evento. Reconocemos la

contribución de San Martín de Porres que trabajó

durante el evento en la hospitalidad y todos los feli-

greses que compraron boletos, donaron dinero e

hicieron que el evento tuviera éxito. Después de to-

dos los gastos, el concierto recaudó doce mil novecien-

tos seis dólares ($ 12,906.00). Muchas gracias a todos

ustedes.

HOSPITALIDAD: Tenemos una reunión con todos

los miembros del equipo de hospitalidad en español el

September 14th, 2018 Ms. Gina will be re-registering the

one from age 3 – to high school for our religious education

Fridays and on Sundays after the 9:45am mass.

THANK YOU: To Carlos Diaz for spearheading the

concert, look for sponsors, selling tickets, looking for

musicians and planning the whole event. We recognize

the contribution of Saint Martin de Porres who

worked during the event in hospitality and all the

parishioners who bought tickets, donated money and

made the event successful. After all the expenses the

concert raised twelve thousand nine hundred and six

dollars ($12,906.00). Many thanks to all of you.

BE PART OF ALFA: You can be part of the

evangelization effort in our parish by joining alfa. You

can sign up as a greeter, prayer ministry,

facilitator, technical support, preparing the

place for the meeting, etc. With alfa we have a

chance to be missionaries in our own parish.

TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION: We have three

topics that we would like to offer to our

parishioners: First, what is depression and

how do we handle it. Second, have you ever

experienced trauma and how do you handle it.

Third, what are evil influences, demonic

possession and exorcism?

CLEANLINESS OF THE CHURCH: This depends

on the cooperation of all the parishioners. We have to

remember not to bring foods in the church, not to

leave bottle waters in the church, chewing gum in

the celebration of the Eucharist or any other

liturgical function is not acceptable behavior.

THE BOOK SERIES: Do not forget to pick up your

book for the fall this August. We will be reading and

discussing the book, Resisting Happiness. It is in

the book store for a donation of two dollars ($2). Get

your copy and read ahead.
