“I tell you, Peter, before the cock crows this day, you will deny three times that you know me.” (Luke 22:34) How many times have you heard someone make a disparaging comment about Jesus or our Catholic faith? How did you react? Do you remain quiet not to cause a disturbance? Or, do you remain quiet because you believe people will think negatively about you? Pray for the courage to speak up and enter into a respectful dialogue when the opportunity arises. Faith in Action -Generate Joy! The inspiration for this year's cam-paign came from St. Pope Paul VI

who reminded us so eloquently "The world calls for and expects

from us simplicity of life, the spirit of prayer, charity towards all, es-pecially towards the lowly and the

poor, obedience and humility... Without this mark of holiness, our word will have difficulty in touch-ing the heart of modern man. It

risks being vain and sterile."

This Appeal supports the work of 28 diocesan agencies, ministries and pro-grams, and serves the people of all our parishes and missions (nearly 300,000 Catholics), as well as many thousands of people in need throughout Worces-ter County.

Divine Mercy Sunday is celebrated on the Sunday after Easter, the Octave Day of Easter. The feast day is observed by Roman Catholic as well as some Anglicans. It is originally based on the Catholic devotion to the Divine Mercy that Saint Faustina Kowalska reported as part of her encounter with Jesus, and is associated with special promises from Jesus and indulgences issued by the Church.

Join us APRIL 28 for a HOLY HOUR from 2-3 pm and the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 pm

The winners of our Cash Raffle are: April 6—Bob Zurowski April 7—Michelle Barrosi April 8—Eileen Daudelin April 9—Arline Campo April 10—Brenda Stazinski April 11—Bob Hebert April 12—Joyce & Dave Jordan

HOLY THURSDAY ADORATION After celebrating the last supper with his disci-ples, Jesus went with them to Gethsemane to pray. On Holy Thursday, as we remember the institution of the Eucharist, we are invited to pray with Jesus, to keep vigil with him in church’s chapel. Adoration will begin right after Mass. We will conclude our "vigil with the Lord" with night prayer at 11:45 pm. Give yourself the opportunity to spend some time with the Lord!

Dear Brothers and Sisters, As we enter the celebra-tions of Holy Week we thank God for the gift our Lenten journey, our spiritu-al desert, in which we have

encountered the mercy of God. Everything we have done during the season leads us to this, the most important week of the year to contemplate the cost of our salvation and the unending love God has had for you and me. Such a love is always new, always transformative, always ready for us if we open our hearts to the presence of God. May this week be indeed Holy for us. Love you all, Fr. Juan

Praying the Rosary

For the last 50 or so years, a tradition began at St. Denis to pray the Rosary each morning before Mass.

To keep this tradition alive, we invite mem-bers of the parish to come join us at 7:30 am and honor our Lord and His Blessed Mother.

What better way to start your day and “reignite the fire” of your love for God.

Rosary is prayed on Monday, Tuesday & Friday morning at 7:30
