Bible Study in English Is reading the Bible very difficult to understand? Come join us and learn an easier way as we study the Sunday Readings. Classes will resume in January 2020; classes are to be held on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
Holy Land Gifts: Olive Wood Carvings Blessed Olive wood Crea ons, a Chris an group from Bethlehem in the Holy Land, will be visi ng our parish on December 7th and 8th. They will speak to us about the Chris an struggle in the Holy Land. They will also have some beau ful Olive Wood carvings, which are all handmade by the Chris an people in Bethlehem, for sale a er all the Masses. The purpose of this visit is to help maintain the existence of the Catholics in the Holy Land. Catholic Chris ans were once the majority in that land, but the percentage has now dropped to less than 1.3%. Please take me to look at the carvings, make a purchase, and help this church maintain a presence in the very land where our Lord was born, where He preached the Good News and where His Kingdom was first established. These carvings make great sacramental gi s that have an added special significance, given where and why they were made.

Blessed Olive Wood Crea ons, un grupo cris ano de Belén en Tierra Santa visitará nuestra parroquia del 7 al 8 de diciembre. Nos hablarán de la lucha cris ana en Tierra Santa. También tendrán algunas hermosas tallas de madera de olivo, que son hechas a mano por el pueblo cris ano en Belén, a la venta después de todas las misas. El propósito de esta visita es ayudar a mantener la existencia del pueblo católico en Tierra Santa. Children in sports are at risk for head injuries Sports are a great way for children to burn off energy, learn about teamwork, and stay active and healthy. But some sports come with risks, including head injuries. Football is an especially high-risk sport for these types of injuries, given the nature of the game. If your child wants to play contact sports, make sure he or she does so safely. Provide proper safety equipment that fits. Check helmets and protective gear periodically to ensure that all are still working. Talk to coaches and referees about

St. Dominic Savio He is the patron saint of our Parish. He is a saint at nearly 15 years of age. He was educated by St. John Bosco (also known as Don Bosco) at the Oratory of St. Francis de Sales. For St. Dominic Savio, holiness consists of always being cheerful and of doing one’s ordinary du es, extraordinarily well. His Feast Day is on May 6.
