The finance council decided to replace instead of repair because of the high costs of repair. They were installed in December by Crosslake Sheet Metal and Furnace, with a nice savings of $1600.00 in rebates from the furnace manufacturer. The cost of the furnaces with installation was then $4880.00. As you know the lights in church have been humming and or blinking on/off for over a year. The ballast for the florescent lighting is no longer available. In the next few weeks all the fluorescent lighting in the church will be switched over to LED. This is an investment of approximately $10,000.00, with efficiency improved our electrical costs will be lowered. This project was also approved by the finance council, bids were made and Leech Lake Electric was awarded the bid. Both of these projects were made possible by donations from several parishioners with the money being designated specifically. Thank you to those people who made these projects possible.
