The porch (the vault) Starting from the porch, in the old texts, it is named cemetery gate; it continued with the wall of the cemetery which surrounded the church until the nineteenth century.

The church It has been founded by the Abbey of Saint Pierre in Romans. The village developed around the chapel of the priory which became parish church. The choir is a fine example of early Romanesque art - XI century. The south aisle was partially destroyed and rebuilt in the late Middle Ages. It is a more sober style with pointed arches . Push the door of the church to discover inside.

Siberian neighborhood Take on your right to discover this recent area where it is possible to see the old police station and the village hall. We can guess that its name came from an exposure to all the different winds.

The park Follow the path on the right which leads to the park. It was the park of the former house of Clavière, a middle-class family of the village . We can observe the beautiful metallic portals which are decorated with Maltese cross and symbols linked to its owners' history.

The calvary On the left, the calvary. From up there, there is a beautiful view upon the village where you can find benches waiting for you, and have a nice break in your walk.

House of Clavière At the end of the path is the House of Clavière, Mme De Dienne’s property (who first marry Mr De Clavière). This noble home will first be given by its owner to found an orphanage. It will be managed by the Saint Joseph’s Sisters before becoming the retirement home of the communi-ty. Today it is waiting for another destiny…

The convent On the right, go down towards the Convent, founded in 1730 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph’s community and later extended through the centuries. The present-day chapel dates from the nineteenth century. Facing the convent, there is the hospital of Saint-Félicien. The foundation act of the hospital is established in 1734 by the marquess of Bozas. The Sisters of St Joseph serves the poor. They have the status of housemaid. They were fed, had their laundry whiten and received an allow-ance from the hospital. The Sisters managed the hospital’s direction until 1976.

The convent park Further, the convent park. It is the domain of the farm of the Convent which used to assure a part of the community’s living. You can notice the cemetery of the Sisters, a haven of peace in the middle of greenery.
