RESURRECTIONAL APOLYTIKION (TONE 1)While the stone was sealed by the Jews, and the soldiers were guarding Thy most pure body, Thou didst arise on the third day, O Savior, granting life to the world. For which cause the
heavenly powers cried aloud unto Thee, O giver of life. Glory to Thy Resurrection, O Christ, glory to Thy kingdom, glory to Thy providence, O Thou Who alone art the lover of mankind.
APOLYTIKION OF ENTRANCE OF THE THEOTOKOS (TONE 4)Today is the prelude of God’s goodwill and the heralding of the salvation of mankind.
In the Temple of God, the Virgin is presented openly, and she proclaimeth Christ unto all. To her, then, with a great voice let us cry aloud: Rejoice, O thou fulfillment of the Creator’s dispensation.
APOLYTIKION OF ST. CATHERINE THE GREAT-MARTYR (TONE 5)Let us praise the all-lauded and noble bride of Christ, the godly Catherine, the guardian of Sinai and its defence,
who is also our support and succor and our help; for with the Holy Spirit’s sword she hath silenced brilliantly the clever among the godless; and being crowned as a Martyr, she now doth ask great mercy for us all.
APOLYTIKION OF ST. GEORGE (TONE 4)As deliverer of captives and defender of the poor, healer of the infirm, champion of kings,
victorious Great Martyr George intercede with Christ our God for our souls’ salvation.
KONTAKION OF ENTRANCE OF THE THEOTOKOS (TONE 4)The sacred treasury of God’s holy glory, the greatly precious bridal chamber and Virgin,
the Saviour’s most pure temple, free of stain and undefiled, into the House of the Lord on this day is brought forward and bringeth with herself the grace of the Most Divine Spirit;
her do God’s Angels hymn with songs of praise, for she is truly the heavenly tabernacle.
PROKEIMENON: God is wondrous in His saints. Bless God in the congregations.
THE EPISTLEThe Reading from the Epistle of St. Paul to the Galatians. (3:23-4:5)
Brethren, before faith came, we were confined under the Law, kept under restraint until faith should be revealed. So that the Law was our custodian until Christ came, that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith
has come, we are no longer under a custodian; for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek,
there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.
I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no better than a slave, though he is the owner of all the estate; but he is under guardians and trustees until the date set by the father. So with us; when we were children,
we were slaves to the elemental spirits of the universe. But when the time had fully come, God sent forth His Son, to redeem those who were under the Law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.

Messages from THE LADIES
ST. GEORGE KEYLESS ENTRYSt. George is going keyless! The week after Thanksgiving, we are rekeying the locks and installing keypads to limit the need to pay for rekeying our locks in the future.
The current keys in use will not work once the locks are rekeyed. We are working through a plan for how we will provide codes to those that need access to the buildings.
SUNDAY SCHOOLThere will be no Sunday School today. We will resume on Sunday, December 2nd.
#GIVING TUESDAY#GivingTuesday is an annual, global movement, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving -

We invite you to participate in this movement by supporting our Good Samaritan Fund. The Good Samaritan Fund helps members of our St. George family who have fallen
on hard financial times. Supporting these efforts are easy, just follow this link https://www.stgeorgeaz.org/pushpay/ and select #GivingTuesday.

Messages from FATHER
THE GOSPELThe Reading from the Holy Gospel according to St. Luke. (18:18-27)At that time, a man came testing Jesus and asking, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but God alone. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery. Do not kill. Do not steal. Do not bear false witness. Honor your father and mother.’” And the man said, “All these I have observed from my youth.” And when Jesus heard it, he said to him, “One thing you still lack. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when the man heard this he became sad, for he was very rich. Jesus, seeing him sad, said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?” Jesus said, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”
