Two weeks after Pentecost, the Church celebrates the Feast of Corpus Christi. As we have in the

past, we will have a procession with the Blessed Sacrament on the streets of Bayonne.

This year we will begin at 2pm at Mt. Carmel Church with Adoration of the Blessed Sacra-

ment. At 3pm the procession will proceed to St. Mary Church where we will celebrate

Benediction. We invite our Altar Servers (in their alb or cassock and surplice) to help lead the

procession followed by those who made their 1st Communion and Confirmation this year. All are invited to join us as we make a public mani-festation of our faith in celebration of the Most

Holy Body and Blood of the Lord, Corpus Christi.

Our Lady of Fatima appeared to the children on the 13th of the month from May to Octo-ber in 1917. Each year pil-grims relive this experience

with a candlelit proces-sion. Pope Francis dedicated

his papacy to Our Lady of Fati-ma so let us pray for our Uni-versal Church for Our Lady's

help and protection. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.

A procession is representative of our life journey as the Church, the Bride of Christ, going to meet her Divine Spouse. We offer these processions for an

increased devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the conversion of sinners, and for the souls of the

faithful departed. Join us at our parish for our monthly Fatima

Devotions (in three languages) Rosary & proces-sions on the 13th of the month.

Some Church Etiquette

Please return all Missalettes to the shelf

from which you had tak-en them.

Please close the doors after you enter or leave the church. This preserves the

air-conditioned environment for others. On rainy days, please use the umbrella

receptacles. This prevents water on the floor, kneelers and pews. Please take all items home with you:

bulletins, keys, glasses, papers, etc. Please turn off your cell phone. God does not need

it to talk to you!

YEARLY INTENTION CANDLES We have available year-long Intention candles as a Memorial for deceased loved ones or Prayers for the living. The decorative glass sheath with gold intention plate may be placed at any of the red

votive candle stands. Those who ordered candles will find them at the designated stands.
