Photo Op We are asking every student to take a picture of them-selves standing next to every statue of the Blessed Vir-gin Mary they encounter throughout their travels this summer and fall. Email them along with their location/city to [email protected] by November 20th. We will compile the pictures into a slide show for the whole school in honor of the Feast of the Immacu-late Conception in December. Let’s see how many stat-ues we can find!

BINGO The remaining summer Bingo dates will be August 1st and August 15th. Bingo starts at 6:00 p.m. in the Visitation Goetzman Gym. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Alumni will gather again this year on Friday, August 31, from 6:00—9:00 p.m. Bring your family and friends and join eight decades of alumni at the school gym. Come check out the wonderful new gym floor and super cool electronic scoreboard which will roll pictures from Vis archives. Cerno’s is again sponsoring the liquor license so beer and wine will be flowing. Con-tact your classmates and come join in on the fun! Then join us on Sunday, September 2, at the 9:30 Mass, followed by an alumni & friends breakfast in the school gym. Challenge the Class of 1975 as the class with the most attendees. Tables for each decade are provided so alums may sign in and meet fellow class-mates in attendance. These gatherings provide an opportunity to recon-nect with classmates and see many familiar (and not so familiar) family names and faces. PLEASE JOIN US THIS YEAR!

Gift Card Sales Gift cards sales (also know as ‘scrip’) will resume on August 21st. This on-going fundraiser allows us to earn money by selling gift cards to 100’s of retailers and food establishments at face value, and the retailers pay Visita-tion a commission for selling. There is no additional cost to you and the school makes money—it’s a win-win! Orders are placed weekly on Tues-days at 8am and are available to pick up after 3:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Contact the office for more details or check out the complete retailer list on www.shopwithscrip.com.
