St. Patrick’s day is not

just a day to pinch

those who forget to

wear green! It is a day

to reflect on the

courageous and humble Saint Patrick.

Do yourself a favor and research the

amazing journey of this man. He went

from being forced into slavery to later

coming back to evangelize all of

Ireland. You can even watch the movie,

“I am Patrick” (Not rated), on March

17th & 18th showing at two movie

theaters in Lubbock.

R e c o v e r y

Msgr. Ben Kasteel is

recovering from a major

surgery. He is at home and

recuperating. To accelerate

his healing, his caregivers

have requested that he have no visitors

at this time. Msgr. Ben has been a

great friend and supporter of St. John

the Baptist. We pray for his full

recovery and in thanksgiving for the

blessing he is to our Parish. We will

continue to provide updates on his

condition as they become available.

Tuesday, March 24th At 7pm

With Special Guest: Sister Celine Thames, OSF Mark your calendars! All are invited to be

present for this beautiful reflection.

There will be no Stations

or Fish Fry on Friday the

20th due to Spring Break.
