K o C Annual Western Hoedown The Knights of Columbus,

Assembly 2336, presents their annual Western Hoedown catered BBQ dinner and raffle on Saturday May 6, 2017 in the St. Joseph Parish Social Hall. There will be a no-host social hour from 5:30-6:30pm and dinner at 6:30pm. The raffle will follow dinner. Purchase tickets after all masses until April 30th $25 per person; $45 per couple; $12.50 for ages 9-14; and children under 9 are free. your neighbors we invite you to join us. You would be so welcome! St. Vincent de Paul Society meets the first Tuesday of every month. Our next meeting is May 2nd, at 7:00 p.m. in the Renwald Room.

We serve at Loaves and Fishes the 3rd Friday of each month. We meet at St. Joseph’s and car pool, leaving from the parking lot at 9:30am. Our St. Vincent de Paul Society Conference of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Joseph Catholic Churches is sponsoring the Baby Item Wish List for THE SACRAMENTO LIFE CENTER. They are in need of: small blankets of neutral colors, like greens and yellows. Clothes, sizes newborn to 2T; diapers, newborn to age 5, and miscellaneous: baby wipes, small toiletries: shampoos, lotions, powder, nail clippers, comb/brush sets, bibs, pacifiers, etc, and stuffed animals for newborns only: that is small and choke proof. Please bring these unwrapped items with purchase tags still on (if possible) beginning May 1st and place the items in or around the baby cradle located in the vestibule. The drive continues through the end of May.

Good Shepherd Grief and Bereavement Ministry

“Hearts of Compassion”, will offer seven Mon-day evening group sessions beginning May 1st from 6:30pm until 8:00pm. This outreach ministry of Good Shepherd parish provides support to parishion-ers and their family and friends who are experienc-ing the loss of a loved one. The seven sessions will help in understanding the stages of grief, surviving stress and loneliness, and will offer a session on how memories can become tools for starting a new life.
